I fucking hate it when people say I'm going to be dependent on my mobility aids. Like, hell yes, I am dependent on them because I'm disabled and their function is to help me live better, I need these aids, they are not just ornaments.

Shoutout to everyone who has chronic pain, fatigue or illness because of some mental disorder.

It can be difficult to accept that you deserve accommodations, respect and care, but you do deserve it!

You deserve patience and kindness, as well. So please hold patience and kindness for yourself, it can be easy to criticize yourself based on all the ableist things people say.

Whether you get chronic switching headaches because of stress as a system, or chronic fatigue because of executive dysfunction, or anything else, you deserve respect.

I know it's hard, but you deserve love and acceptance too.
