I really like this show so far...but so far, I'm rooting for a non-romantic ending. Koh is a blaring red flag...but Pheem started beige but is edging in on red himself. Jira wears his emotions on his sleeve, so to speak, and I'm not looking forward to seeing him get his heart smashed (I'm lying).

Okay, I've watched the pilot trailer an embarrassing number of times...but seriously, if they keep this premise from pilot to official series, it will hit all of the omegaverse tropes that I love so dearly.

Did anyone else clock that Phatsa is holding a vibrator in the shower? Like, I for sure thought it was a shower head or something...and then I switched from my phone to my computer. Nope. I was wrong.

The thing I have enjoyed most about BoatOat and MFlow is that they aren't afraid to go there. Omegaverse is controversial and very hard to make live action, at best, and while I am of the belief that Pit Babe crawled so that Desire could walk so that Knot could run, I'm glad it's this particular CP and company handling it. I have high hopes.

I know not everyone enjoyed My Stubborn, but I did. I thought the pilot was fine, and the show did a good job at not only sticking to what the pilot promised but also shaping it into something a lot better. So, with a pilot this good, I hope they can make the actual series even better.

Favorite part of the whole series: instead of Punn becoming a vampire to spend forever with Ramil, they just go exist in their little pocket dimension together. It's precious and a nice way to give a twist to the vampire-human romance trope.

I know Hua Yong manipulating Sheng isn't right....but watching him pheromone slap the shit out of Shen Wenlang for daring to touch his alpha was funny as hell.

I'm looking forward to his enigma era. I just hope this doesn't go as... nonconsensually as I fear it's going to.

Gao Tu deserves SO much better. Now, I love a good angst with a happy ending, but I'm not usually one for the crematorium trope....but it's what Shen Wenlang deserves. Jesus. We finally get to see him be a little soft, a little worried about Gao Tu...but I know his little jab at Sheng about fucking Hua Yong just broke his heart.

I am stupidly obsessed with this show. I knew I would be. Bring on alllllll the angst!

I'm going to need Shen Wenlang to SUFFER for how hard he falls for Gao Tu. I need a major redemptive arc here. I absolutely get why Gao Tu is hiding who he is...he hasn't had one good reason to live as an omega. My biggest fear is Shen Wenlang being an even bigger dick when it inevitably comes out that Gao Tu is really am omega. Instead, I want him falling all over himself to get Gao Tu's forgiveness and work to be the best alpha ever. Doubt it'll happen, but I can dream, right?

Poor Sheng is being sooo manipulated, and I am here for it. I don't want the man to suffer...but I'm here for crazy-in-love enigma bullshit. I know it's going to go badly. Sheng is NOT going to like it when it all comes out. But the dark romance lover in me adores someone so in love that they've completely lost their mind.

....I love Pitbabe. I love that they leaned in a touch to the omegaverse...but holy shit Desire is going to take me out. I am SIX minutes in, and I've paused it eight times to giggle hysterically. In fanfic terms, Pitbabe is crack treated seriously (anyone else agree?)...Desire is all-in. It's serious-serious. It's going to give us mpreg. I'm not fucking prepared, folks!

What Alan did was not out of character

It was exceedingly in character

Throughout this season Alan has been doing everything in his power to hold his family together.

He watched Kim leave

He watched Jeff slowly decline

He watched Babe screw up and Charlie distance himself

He watched Charlie leave

He watched Jeff decline rapidly

He watched Charlie take Jeff’s place

He watched Babe react to Charlie decision

He watched Babe shatter when Charlie was taken

He watched Dean crash in order to help

He is still living with the guilt of everything that happened to Dean last year

He now has a little brother missing, everyone is presuming Dean’s dead.

He now has another little brother, Charlie, slowly declining in Jeff’s place - and he knows what that will do to Babe

Then Winner appears. Saying Dean is alive and Alan jumps.

Alan is a desperate man.

He knows Charlie would willingly sacrifice himself again. He knows Babe and Jeff would disagree. He knows that Dean deserves a chance to live.

Alan knows

He also knows dealing with Tony is dealing with the devil.

But he’s fucking desperate

So Alan volunteered. Naïvely thinking Tony will follow through. That in doing so he’ll be saving Dean and sparring Charlie.

He was wrong. But not out of character

Since I can't let this episode go tonight, I want to talk about North and Sonic:

Can we all agree that, if this were a slow burn, mutual pining, friends-to-lovers, angst with a happy ending (God, please) fanfiction, that we would ALL love it? It'd be the kind of fic you'd stay up hours late at night to finish because you just couldn't put it down?

Is it just me?

I LOVE their storyline. I think it could be a little bit more heavy on the wtf happened details because their is clearly a story there, but every time North's sad little face pops on the screen, I am dialed all the way in.

Would it be solved if they would open their mouths and communicate? Absolutely. But a lack of communication is a running theme for all our fucked up little lovebugs, so NorthSonic are right on parr with everyone else.

But don't mistake mutual pining for miscommunication. North knows how Sonic feels. He overheard Sonic talking quite clearly. He's just decided that he's going to be the bigger person and give Sonic what he says he wants at face value instead of begging him to stay and be with him (which is what he actually wants).

Sonic might be suffering from miscommunication, but I think a part of him knows how North feels, he just wants North to admit it first. Which might be a tad childish, but the poor baby has lost his patience.

Now, all of this needs payoff. I need a happy ending to go with North's heartbreaking expressions. But so far, I'm loving it.

Does anyone feel like this fight for Charlie and Babe is totally on brand? I want them to be better at communicating too, y'all, I do, but Charlie even said it himself: they don't really talk, they just have sex. We can argue all day about what an idiot Babe was (because, dude, that was really fucking dumb AND dangerous), but Charlie faked his own death in the first season. Traumatized Babe into chronic nightmares about losing him, faked his death.

Babe doing a stupid, reckless thing this season perfectly parallels Charlie's stupid, reckless thing from last season.

Our boys didn't magically heal their traumas and toxicity from the first season. It's a year later, but they're still healing, and I think what is happening isn't altogether shocking for either Charlie or Babe. Charlie should absolutely put Babe through his paces. Their divorce era is going to be emotional and painful, and we will get brilliant crying scenes from Pavel (yay!) But I don't think what Babe did is unforgivable (in the realm of our vroom vroom show). I think it's actually kind of brilliant that we still get to see them messy and growing. It fits their character arcs because, lets face it, the first season ended in a good place, but they were far from being totally healed and whole. If they had, this season would end up feeling like TharnType season 2, angst for no reason.

Now that I've watched the whole episode, some thoughts:

1. Is Dean dead? He was on screen for less than 30 seconds and said nothing. Why put him in the opening credits?

2. I like that we're getting a "midlife crisis" in the form of a younger racing coming in and beating Babe. I actually hope that he's just a good racer and not an evil little fucker (like I'm pretty sure he will be). It's realistic. No one can stay number one forever.

3. Speaking of number one...I agree with Kim's decision to leave. Alan will always favor Babe. It's both sweet and fatherly...but also kind of dumb if you want to have other drivers in her company. You can't push one back to make another shine and expect them to be happy about it. I'm glad he made it clear that his professional decision had no bearings on his friendships.

4. I love how Way is still the most complicated character, and he's not even there anymore. I had mixed feelings about him in the first season. Because I can't excuse or ignore what he did and tried to do to Babe, and we didn't get a good redemption for that. But I also couldn't help but feel sorry for him too. That is the brilliance of Nut's acting abilities. I also like that, despite the memorial service and everything, it's clear that Babe is still conflicted about Way. He loved him despite of his betrayal, but he's still having nightmares about the man. I both hope that Chris is somehow Way and also not Way at all. Maybe he's a clone? Who knows.

5. Mama and Papa still make me giggle and kick my feet, and while I don't need mpreg in my omega verse, I totally wouldn't be opposed.

6. Why are we lying to Alan, Jeff? Haven't we learned not to do that by now?

I'm trying to not get my hopes up l because Thai BLs are notorious for ruining shows with second seasons. But! The first episode was great, and it laid a lot of good groundwork for the rest of the season.

So...just a thought between what looks like Charlie getting some kind of amnesia (or maybe Alzheimer's type memory loss) and Jeff getting nosebleeds...

I think their cure from the end of Season 1 is going to fuck up somehow. It's got side effects, and that's part of what needs to be studied in the lab.

What is it for you?!lol😮‍💨 but listen the lights in the back are giving a nice ambiance, feeling its has a warmth to it, while these two are just urgent and needy for each other this time completely with no barrier of lies or worries in between, just them passionately showing each other how much they longed for this also the body worshipping all the things I can't!!

I didn't have a chance to watch last week's BNW, so I watched episodes 9 and 10 back to back, and I am sooo glad that I did. The cliffhanger would have killed me.

This series stuck the landing, for the most part. I thought I would hate Ozone trading himself for Cir (it was fairly obvious to me from the moment Zone came on screen what his end would be, and I railed against it the whole series), but I didn't. It needed more developing, but even the few glimpses we got of Zone gave off the impression that he wasn't going to just submit to his mother. Where Cir had shut down emotionally and went along to get along (which is totally fair because I'm fairly certain he was going to throw himself off of a building otherwise), Ozone has Malicious Compliance written all over him, and I love that for him.

Boss and Nouel totally blew me away with these last two episodes. The sincerity and absolute desperation that I felt from each of the characters made me cry. Our lonely boys won't be lonely anymore.

Jin and Wim's story ended cutely. I'd like to see more from the actors going forward. I hope they aren't regulated to secondary characters forever. They've got a nice chemistry. Jin and Wim gave me PaiSky vibes.

Now starts the long wait to see what Mame will do next.

...it stuck the landing 🥺 GMMTV isn't best known for their endings. Many a great series ended up disappointing because the finale was just bad.

But this show? This was fucking magic. WilliamEst have the kind of chemistry and talent that could make them a real power couple. I hope they won't be wasted.

ThamePo was the kind of series that warms you all the way down to your toes. Fun, engaging side characters. Terrific leads. A storyline that was both heart wrenching and heart warming in equal measure, that also made some amazing commentary about the lives of idols and their relationships to their companies and to their fans. Easily one of the best I've seen.
