2 DAYS UNTIL SPLATOON RAIDERS IS RELEASED!!!!!!!!!!

I have absolutely fallen in love with Clementine and Toad over the course of this countdown, and I'm so happy that others quickly grew to love them as well <3 I may not draw them as often after this countdown ends, but you'll surely see them both again soon - especially because their lore (and maybe designs) will probably undergo changes when I experience Raiders firsthand!

Also Deep Cut's Island Misadventures (the comic series) begins today!!! Finally some scraps of lore!!!!!! I do have Nintendo Today but I hope that people are able to upload the comics somewhere else so that everyone can see them AND so they can be preserved (idk why Nintendo seemingly doesn't like that idea??)

48 days until Raiders comes out! Something slightly different today - I drew Toad in Tomodatchi Life: Living the Dream! I'm really proud of how she turned out :3

Yes this does mean she's counted as a pet in the game, which I obviously disagree with as Salmonids are indeed actual people, but I just didn't trust myself to make a Toad Mii that actually looked good lol. Plus Toad doesn't really hang out with anyone other than Clementine and Deep Cut so it would also be weird to see her interacting with other Miis

Also this is so Raiders-accurate lol (and the Mii in the chicken costume on the boat is Big Man which makes it even better)

62 days until Splatoon Raiders is released! Here's Toad rushing into action!!!

ALSO I realised that I didn't post Toad's full Salmomid name before, whoops! Toad is more of a nickname used by Clementine and Deep Cut, with her full name being The Promised Golden Seed of Puos Island (one of the islands in Raiders)

78 days until Splatoon Raiders is released! Here is Clementine's Salty Tongue buddy, Toad! (She/her)

Deep Cut found it slightly weird that their mechanic was able to befriend a Salmonid so easily, but it helps that Toad had already been outcast from the other Spirhalite Salmonids... the golden spots on her back led to high expectations of growing golden scales, which never came into fruition, frustrating the other members of her tribe - that and her typically spoiled behaviour. She takes this in her stride, though, and loves her new friends more than anything else!! Once again, I'll add to lore/backstory when the game comes out.
