I’m glad I’m not the only one becoming overly friendly with the block feature.

Sometimes I’ll look back through their profiles before blocking, to see if they actually are a hater or if they’re just having an off day or jumping on the easy likes bandwagon, and because some of those accounts actually had some good takes on the show and it’s characters and it’s a shame to lose that.

One thing I’ve noticed is that a large number of them were singing Noah’s praises and thirsting over him all through January, February, March. Then April was like a switch getting flipped and suddenly he’s this all-powerful racist, misogynist loser that needs cancelling.

I’d say it makes for an interesting social experiment… But it doesn’t, it’s an annoying and unoriginal tag-clogger at this point, when the claims have been repeatedly disproven.

They just don't use the correct tags. If you want to have a bitch about him - use 'anti noah wyle' it's very simple. We shouldn't have to treat you like a child to get you to recognise that.

There's always been hate and allegations but not nearly at the levels it is right now. It's funny you should mention April. 2nd April was the time it was announced Supriya was leaving the show. What then followed was a severe backlash against Noah personally. It got death threats being sent to him on a post he made about his dear friends passing, to the writers, and also their families. It got calls to boycott and cancel the show whilst threatening them to reverse the decision. It had screeners leaking spoilers to 'get back at them'. It had everyone and anyone, mainly on twitter, condemning him and blaming him for ALL of the writing, the casting, the editing, and everything connected to The Pitt. Since then the vitriol and hate for Noah has reached a level that it's now an active smear campaign of people twisting his words in the most fake performative sense of justice I've ever seen in my life. These people will weaponise antisemitism in a twisted sense of getting back at him whilst actively watching and talking about the show he helps create but is also the main character of. They are nothing more than self-absorbed hypocrites sitting behind a screen making tweets and posts for hits and likes because what he does and says is 'wrong' in their eyes. He uses his own life experiences like everyone else to help or guide or advise, even if you don't like the way he phrases it. Nothing he does is good enough, even when raising thousands for charity he was ridiculed, and yet they hunt him down at any given point in an obsessed parasocial agenda all the while having a pfp of a character that Noah helped create.

If they truly hated him, if they truly believed in what they were saying, theyd boycott the show, strip their profiles of anything to do with the Pitt and move on. Instead they display themselves as nothing more than fake performative hypocrites who'll lower themselves for an endorphin boost and a pathetic hit tweet/post.

what's so endlessly funny about this apparent 'beef' between noah wyle and shawn hatosy is it stems from absolutely nothing. it's just people's imaginations and twisting of quotes and their words to imagine noah is jealous of shawn's 'success' and he wants to get rid of him when in actual fact these two men adore each other and speak nothing but praise and love for one another. it's like these people want them to secretly hate each other and for there to be rivalry on set but there just isn't any and they can't stand it so they make it up!
