        “oh, how lovely. you must love her dearly, with the way you’re talking about her.” it was weird how easy it was to actually talk to someone, she honestly found it hard to do so. “i’m clara by the way.” he smiles, supposing it was the right time for introductions.

"she's amazing, she takes after her mom so she kind of has to be you know?" he grinned, it was weird to have a conversation about something he truly loved, with no motives just... happiness. "jai."

“i can’t think of anybody who is.” he retorted, though instantly thinking of bambi and how’d she react to jai with a bruise blooming on his cheek. ollie was likely to be painted as the bad guy if his knuckles touched jai’s cheek. “ah, fuck it.” he whispered to himself, bracing at jai and landing a punch his face. at this point, he really didn’t care what anybody would say about him or he didn’t really care from the start and was just saving face. “bridget isn’t a toy. stay away from my sister and i’ll stay away from yours.” he huffed in a deep breath. “hand over that stupid fucking sex tape. does bambi even know about that? or are you continuing with that streak of lies?”

"mm bambi sure is happy to see me every day, can't say the same about you." jai took the blow in his stride but recovered quickly, using his grip on the front of ollie's shirt to swing him around and slam him against the brick wall. "you won't stay away from elina because you're a piece of shit. luckily for you, i have an incentive. every single time you touch my sister, i'll go and find bridget. do it more than a couple of times and i find tavia. and if you don't stop at all? i'm sure the paparazzi would love to get a hold of her sex tape. so no bro, don't think i'll be handing it over." jai wound his arm back, one hand keeping ollie in place as he laid one, two, three punches to his smug face. "got it mate?"

bambi curled up against jai as he pulled her into his lap, she craved his warmth and safety. she knew it might not be her best idea to trust him anymore but she couldn’t help her feelings. she loved him and even though he was forced to he seemed like he was being honest with her. she relaxed in his arms, burying her face in his neck for a few moments, just savoring him. “i know you still want to hurt them… just… please… please be careful.”

his hand drifted to the back of her neck, keeping her in place and his thumb rubbed gentle reassuring circles into her soft skin. "i'm sorry you got dragged into this mess baby, you deserve so much better than how i planned on treating you. i promise i'll treat you good." jai pulled her head up so he could look her in the eyes, pressing a chaste kiss to her lips before speaking. "i'm going to make them pay bambi, a lot of bad things happened to me because of them. if you don't want to know, i won't tell you. but i'll tell you everything if you wish to know it. no secrets."

“i just want to- you know what nevermind.” he sighed in frustration, ruffling his hair in the process.  “if you do talk to her just tell her i want to talk to her about everything that happened and maya.”

“what do you want with maya, what the fuck did you do to my sister and minnie?” jai resisted the urge to grip the front of elijah’s shirt and shake him until he admitted any wrongdoing.

bambi pressed her lips against his softly, her eyes fluttering shut as one of her hands moved to rest on his cheek. “ollie just kept telling me you were a bad guy… he didn’t say what you did… he just said that you cheated…” she shrugged. “i… i feel like you were honest with me…” she hoped that she wasn’t stupid for forgiving him and trusting her. “you were honest saying that you originally just wanted to use me… but… i… i feel like things are more than that… i hope they are…” 

he sighed when her lips pressed to his, he didn’t deserve her, that much was true but god he was lucky to still have her. “ollie is a hypocrite baby, he put me in jail for doing the same thing he’s done to every woman he’s been with. the same thing he did to you.” he pulled away so that he could settle onto her sofa, pulling her into his lap in one fell swoop. “i love you, it’s not about revenge with you anymore, it hasn’t been for a little while.”

he stopped himself from hitting the jai square in the face there and then, and gagging at the absolutely big brother triggering sentence he spat out. “i won’t talk about me fucking your sister in front of you, if you do the same. i don’t need the gore-y details of your sex life with my sister okay. you being here is enough punishment.” though he was determined to stay calm… but jai just couldn’t keep his mouth shut and just had to bring up bridget even more.  he pushed out of his violently, grabbed jai by the collar of his shirt and dragged him out. “i really don’t want to get into a fight right now, it’s quite too early for that eh? and i was trying really hard to leave my old morning routine back in new york.” he pushed him to a wall. “don’t talk about my sister or bridget like that again, and i’ll let you go. it’s simple really, even you can understand that right?”

jai smirked, ollie was reacting just how he wanted him to, a big reaction was a good sign that he could still get the other man and cut him to the core. “you’re not happy to see me? i’m hurt,” he spoke with an overexaggerated pout. he would have been strong enough to resist being yanked outside, however it was far more entertaining to wait ollivander bare his teeth over his ex girlfriend and his bitch of a sister. “and why would i do you any favours?  i don’t owe you shit bro.” jai shoved the hands from him and pushed back at him, “i understand perfectly well, you know what i understand best? the game you’re playing. so stay the fuck away from my sister greene, or else you might find one of your little toys becomes mine, and we both know how much you love sharing huh?”

jai grinned, maya was his favourite subject and an opportunity to talk about her was a good one. “oh she’s not my sister, she’s my sister’s daughter, my niece. she’s the best.”

“she’s with maya, you fucking idiot.” jai rolled his eyes, more than a little annoyed at his sisters friend. “why do you want to see lina anyway?”
