“well, it seems you lucked out and got everything you wanted, huh? you can thank me later, i’m sure you’ll figure out a way to.” he teased with a wiggle of his brows, a small chuckle falling from his lips and rumbling deep in his chest as he looked down at her. honestly, the boy couldn’t imagine what he would’ve done if he was in her shoes and had someone she didn’t care for bid on the date, being stuck with them for a whole weekend in a private location. granted, his date was won by someone he didn’t know all too well, but it wasn’t exactly intimate and aurelie seemed like a cool enough girl that they’d have decent conversation. “exactly, this is merely for charity, going to a good cause and what not. although….you bidding on me probably didn’t make things too discrete. let’s just hope josh keeps his mouth shut, yeah?” that was the deciding factor, if gaston’s son went and put these ideas in mitch’s head, he knew the oldest roux would bound to go snooping around. which meant, for a while, they wouldn’t be able to sneak around because the last thing he needed was to get caught with the princess herself in his bed…it was practically a death sentence. following her deeper in the water, he felt the refreshing ocean pool around his body in a way that was relaxing and soothing, looking down at the girl as she seemingly was in her happy place. it was nice, not to have to worry about anything and enjoy the moment. unable to stop himself from laughing at the corruption comment, he shook his head, “yeah, i’m a saint….totally not corrupting the sweet, innocent, perfect little princess. not in the slightest.” his words were smooth as his hands slid along her lower back before scooping her up to rest easily in his arms with legs able to wrap around his waist. “you’ll find out later, but you’ll like it. i know what you like, at least when it comes to treats.”
“ hmm.. i can think of a few ways to show you how grateful i am for the rescue, “ she responded with a small hum. a small laugh escaped her lips at his mentioning of her bidding on him as well and she simply gave a shake of her head. “ well.. can you exactly blame me? “ she questioned, eyebrows rose then, “ i mean.. i just couldn’t seem to help myself. i wanted to save you from a potentially horrible date. thankfully, someone else one that doesn’t seem to be half-bad. “ her words akin to the ones he’d given her just a few moments prior easily twisted to make her point. she then gave a shrug of her shoulders before she added in, “ besides.. i’ve always wanted to see wonderland. “ it was, perhaps, one of the only places in the kingdom that she hadn’t been to. this was due to the fact that you had to travel via a rabbit hole to get there. it wasn’t exactly an easy place for royals to travel to and from. she also got the slightest inkling that her father wasn’t particularly interested in visiting such an odd place if he didn’t have to. another giggle escaped her lips as the male snaked his arms around her and she easily wrapped her legs around his waist as he held her up. a light smirk crosses her lips at his comment before she moves her hands to frame either side of her face. then, she leans in and kisses him. this time the kiss lasts a bit longer and is deeper than the light peck she’d given him before. soon, she pulls away with the mischievous smirk still in tact, “ hmm.. i think you know a lot of what i like, ry. “ then, the girl starts to lean back in towards his lips but instead moves to flick the surface of the ocean water up at him in a small splash.
