Laying in this dark room, The universe unraveling; The thoughts in my head are moving faster than light. All of lifes questions answered in a storm of ideas and observations most good, some bad but as hectic as it seems…I am calm. I am at peace. It is a state of mind without words to describe it. The feeling itself is amazing. Tranquility is my escape. The silence my friend. And so every night as I lay here, I learn a bit more about myself and the world I live in. Inner projection is my therapy. My mind always at peace.

Just a small thought.

Why is it that when we lay in bed the universe sends us the answers to all of our questions? We call it insomnia, but is it really a problem of not being able to sleep? or is it that at the moment you are at such inner peace that the mind works at full capacity? Don't get me wrong life is beautiful and all but when you lay there with nothing but a clear mind, The complexity of living and the blurr of societal norms fade away; leaving behind a clear image that is an un-biased,un-altered truth. The secret to true happiness is to follow those findings and not regret what choices you made without the push or worry of what others may think. Goodnight.

Just like that. From a hundred miles an hour to asleep in a nanosecond. I wanted so badly to lie down next to her on the couch, to wrap my arms around her and sleep. Not fuck, like in those movies. Not even have sex. Just sleep together, in the most innocent sense of the phrase. But I lacked the courage and she had a boyfriend and I was gawky and she was gorgeous and I was hopelessly boring and she was endlessly fascinating. So I walked back to my room and collapsed on the bottom bunk, thinking that if people were rain, I was drizzle and she was a hurricane.
