I genuinely wholeheartedly exponentially ASTRONOMICALLY believe all of Soyona’s issues with The Handler could’ve been fixed had they madeout during season three.

Like listen…if Soyona wanted The Handler’s undying, unwavering loyalty towards her, why not make The Handler fall in love with her..??? Why not make The Handler so utterly obsessed with her that she wouldnt dare to leave or betray Soyona? She’d do anything Soyona asks, no questions, no hesitation. That would solve the issue of having to have The Handler prove her loyalty because she’d be so emotionally dependent on Soyona, she’d never WANT to leave her. She wouldn’t NEED a contingency for The Handler. She wont have to worry about The Handler doing anything out of pocket because The Handler would be too busy seeking out Soyona’s praise and affection. WHY NOT USE THE HANDLER’S EMOTIONAL VULNERABILITY AGAINST HER TO HAVE HER DO SOYONA’S BIDDING 99% OF THE TIME⁉️ The outcome? More positive results when it comes to assignments Soyona gives The Handler, stronger bonds, stronger connection, less risk, the raptors will also start to gravitate towards Soyona more, making The Handler’s chances of using them against her drop. It probably won’t benefit The Handler in any way because of how toxic this dynamic would be, but for Soyona? BENEFITS AT EVERY CORNER.

Moral of the story: Kissing a woman solves everything. Why make hate when you could make love CMON NOW‼️‼️‼️

I wanted so badly to like Kenji, but a lot of his comments in CC turned me off so bad. Especially when he was excited over the prospect of seeing “girls fighting” when Yaz and Brooklynn were arguing

I get it but then remember he was a spoiled teenage boy and probably watched a lot of andrew tate during puberty

The way they posed Yasmina - having her lying on her side, front facing the camera, her hand placed on her thigh - after getting knocked out by the dinosaur in s2 was really weird and gross.

Like I get they’re adults now so the show can be kinda fan servicey if it wants to be, but she was unconscious. Like, why would they try to make an unconscious woman look sexy?

I must have blinked or just not noticed because I can't think of what scene this is?

While cartoons are making good progress with lesbian relationships, they're still really hesitant to portray gay male relationships and we need to talk about it more

No hate to Brookenji shippers but I wanna know what the writers were thinking with 13 and 16. Why couldn’t they have just made her a year older?

Idk kinda a confession but Brooklynn has done a LOT of shitty things but I kinda feel like some of the hate it excessive? Like we literally got tons of dialogue in season 2 that she had to take down Santos bc her friends were in danger but people always insist it was for purely selfish reasons. Like, Kenji betrayed his friends to (which I get why he did, and it was understandable) but I do feel like the mass majority of people forget that and are quicker to demonize Brooklynn?

I do think that Kenji’s betrayal was at a totally different level and with vastly different context so it's not fair to compare them. Yeah Brooklynn had good reasons for everything she did but she knowingly put people in a lot of danger and emotional pain (still can't get over how her dads must feel believing she is dead). Kenji was a kid desperate for his dad's approval and put his trust in the only family member he had left

Agree Brooklynn does get a bit too much flack. There's a lot of valid stuff to criticise her for but if she can understand and acknowledge the affect she's had on people then they will forgive her

I feel like I’m going crazy, because literally none of my friends care about this, but the marketing/promos for Chaos Theory are so weird.

Like, for the release of the show they did the magazine pages, but then it turns we shouldn’t take them at face value because they have a mix of canon and non-canon information. Like Kenji starting his school is canon, Sammy having a ranch is canon, but then it turns out Brooklynn’s not actually as much as a successful journalist as the magazine’s lead us to believe.

And then for season 3, with those screenshots with BioSyn quotes of them. It’s a weird misdirect, cause like, why is Kenji and Nonna having a genuine moment overlaid with text from an antagonist’s company when that season doesn’t really feature them that much? Like there’s the setup for s4 but BioSyn is not the main, or even the side, antagonist in s3.

I'm not familiar with these magazines but I've seen kid show marketing have a lot of misinformation in the past. I think it's due to things changing during production and no one caring to check marketing is consistent but it's so dumb

It might just be me, but Brooklynn’s arc with her prosthetic felt weirdly anti-prosthetic to me.

Like, I get it was given to her by the villain, the one who ordered the hit and is the reason she is disabled in the first place.

But having her be given it and only using it while she’s being morally grey and on the wrong side and then having her toss it when she’s brought back to the good side is jarring, to say the least. Especially when her voice actress literally has/uses a prosthetic.

It's a very complex situation and I guess you could look at it in many ways. I didn't see it as Brooklynn rejecting the idea of prosthetics but rejecting Soyona and the help of a villain once she had the luxury to do that (and a better support system). We'll see in the next season if she gets a new prosthetic, maybe one her friends help her pay for or that a "good" organisation can create for her

It’s such a pet peeve of mine that they didn’t make Yasmina more muscular in Camp Cretaceous.

Before the show she was a track star who spent five hours in the gym almost daily and continued to go on runs for fun/normality while stranded after her leg healed. But she just doesn’t have defined muscles.

And it was such missed opportunity to give her a one piece instead of a two piece for the boat party scenes. Like, it would’ve been amazing representation to give a girl visible and defined abs, especially in a kids show.

idk if she'd have super defined abs as an underage runner (what is biology) but I do kinds wish she didn't lose her passion for competing and was more toned in CT at the very least

Chaos Theory past Season 1 lowk ignores how close Ben and Darius were in Camp Cretaceous. I’m a Benrius shipper, but even look at it from a platonic perspective they were still close. When Ben fell from the monorail, Darius had to deal with the guilt even after Ben returned. I wish the monorail was brought up in CT without it being seen as a joke. (ex. “To detect dinosaurs of the flying variety. Your favorite.”) I feel like that still would be heavily affecting Ben even years later. I’ve dealt with survivors guilt for SEVEN years and it still affects me pretty bad some days. Idk I miss Darius and Ben sm ;-;

Id like to confess that I am a huge soyona X brooklynn shipper.

I've read the other two on why people think it's uncomfortable, and I'm not here to force anyone to ship my ships.

My main point of why it's so GOOD is the fact that BROOKYLNN is the one taking advantage of Soyona - a woman older than her and one that should be so well versed in crime, is being backstabbed by a 'teenager'.

And well, yes I'm basically in love with Dichen so like move over Brooklynn...

It's the perfect toxic Yuri/ secret enemies to lovers; there's a motive for one of them, but maybe they almost forget?

I don't romanticise it, I think their predicament affects their relationship from blossoming, and well. You can't really, because as much as I wish we can't all fall in love with a 40 yr old smth woman who runs an illegal dinosaur smuggling company.

Tldr; toxic! Not abusive. And I love it

So i think this is just me being a little confused but like... why is Kenji/Darius bad?

I can understand in CC because of the age gap, though a lot of people think that Kenlynn is fine?

But why is it bad with chaos theory? I mean they're both adults? If people don't ship it because Kenji was adopted by the Bowmans fair enough but like... Kenji was also 16?

I have quite a few friends who were adopted and they said that they don't really view their younger adoptive siblings as their siblings because they're not actually related and they didn't really grow up together

There is the episode brothers in CT but that's like the only time Kenji ever refers to Darius as his brother and that could be read as a friendship brotherhood kind of thing?

I don't necessarily ship it, but the people saying it's awful confuse me, especially when there's actual incest ships you could dislike? Like Darius/Brand or something?

I feel like people should just be allowed to ship what they want, fiction is fiction and it's not hurting anyone... I think I'm just confused because I'm autistic. Do people actually care this much?

You're going to see a lot of people on either side of the debate. Some people ship Kenrius but some despise it because of the age gap. Likewise some people shipped Kenlynn during CC and many many others despised it because of the age gap. There were lots of posts about it at the time

Some people are grossed out by some people shipping adopted siblings, some people aren't, some people are even fine with straight up bio siblings being shipped

People can and do ship what they want and people can and do disagree. I think I'm just so used to shipping discourse that it doesn't really surprise or bother me anymore

Sometimes I wish more people in jwcc-ct fandom were more understanding towards the fact that fandomspace has its own rules that don't necessarily apply to canon and/or real life... Fandom's "activities" and interests /are/ related to canon to some degree but it's not one and the same thing. We're not trying to change the canon by taking different perspectives when "in the fanon space".

Fanon is just a bit of fun imo absolutely people can have ideas and ships that contradict canon
