Discourse stances lol

This will likely be edited over time seeing as my opinions change quite often

-I’m generally neutral with an exclus lean

-Pansexuality, polysexuality, omnisexuality, etc. all mean the same thing as bi and are biphobic and, quite often, transphobic

-Ace/aro people aren’t inherently members of the LGBT community, but they do deserve respect and may face hardships due to being ace/aro. They deserve their own community

-You do need dysphoria in some way, shape or form to be trans. This doesn’t mean always hating yourself or your body. Gender euphoria can’t exist without some kind of discomfort from identifying as your AGAB

-A lot of “acespec” identities are just new ways to say allo and are usually based entirely off of misinformation

-Non-binary people are included under every sexuality (non-binary lesbians, non-binary gays and lesbians/gays attracted to non-binary people are valid)

-Pronouns don’t inherently = gender

-Pronouns like xe/xem and shit are fine but noun pronouns are super fucking stupid and have transphobic roots

-Xenogenders are completely invalid and literally cannot exist or make sense, + the use of neurodivergence to excuse them is pretty fucking ableist

-That being said, gender identity CAN be confusing as fuck and people who get pissy over non-binary labels like demigirl, genderflux, etc. are iffy in my eyes.

-The q slur is still a slur, whether or not it’s been widely reclaimed. Not everyone is going to be okay with being called it and that needs to be respected

i've seen so much exclusionist bullshit today and i need to get this out there.

aro/ace people are part of the lgbt+ community, end of story.

like, you guys focus on the letters so damn much, but it wasn't that long ago that there was no b or t. aro/ace ppl, even if they're not both, even if they're in a straight passing relationship, are still lgbt in the way that a bi person in a straight passing relationship is still lgbt. they are a sexual/romantic minority. just because they aren't as visibly oppressed doesn't mean they don't face any sort of sexuality based oppression. invisibility to the general public is NOT a form of privilege. aro/ace people belong in the lgbt community. they have sexual and romantic experiences that are considered non-standard, it's not a choice, and they face discrimination and even assault for their identity. i don't know why they wouldn't be considered part of the community other than to exclude those who genuinely NEED inclusion bc of how fucking chaotic the community has become bc of xenogenders and trenders.

i hope every aspec person who sees this today feels appreciated cause you guys fucking deserve it.

Can we please stop saying cishet people are welcome in the community because it’s not for them. Ace and aro people 100% face discrimination and deserve respect but that doesn’t mean that all of them are inherently LGBT+.

Like sure if you want your positivity post to be centred on bi positivity then just?? Say so??? But know that no one is trying to erase bisexuality by saying “this applies to other mspec people too”???? Bc it probably does since mspec identities inevitably overlap in definition and experiences (which is perfectly okay)?????????

First off, its because y’all do that so often that it basically just comes with labeling yourself as pansexual. That’s almost entirely what the pan label is based off actually.

Second off, adding onto or commenting on shit that wasn’t about you or your identity and trying to make it about you or prove that it applies to you is weird in any situation, but especially so given the history of the pansexual label and the fact that the label itself is literally bi erasure

Third off yea no shit they overlap in experience n shit it’s all the same thing lol
