There is already so much hate in the world and you want to add more?
Everyone is entitled to there own opinion. Everyone can say, what they think or what they are feeling, but I have a question for those hating blogs. Why don't you just move on from the show? It is a freaking tv show that you are constantly hating on?
If you don't like why are you paying so much attention towards it? Go watch another show that you enjoy. Of course, you are allowed that hate whatever you want, but why put so much energy in hate? I feel like this is a problem in the Skam plus remakes fandom. People will try to bring remakes down to make their favourite look good. This is allowed but not necessary. Every remake has something good and something bad which is oke. Can anyone name a tv show without problematic things? The thing is that it is just a tv show. A tv show can be educational but it is mostly entertaining.
I realised last year how much we demand from Skam and the remakes. Wtfock is literally not airing and they still give us Instagram content. That is something that we should be thankful for and most people are but then you read the comments on a post of fictional characters and, yeah it is just sad in my eyes. There is no such thing as a superior remake in my opinion. I was thirteen/ fourteen years old when season 3 of the OG aired. I remember not really relating to the teenagers yet because they were a lot older than me (I didn't even know what weed was and I am dutch🤦♀️)
Now I am slightly older and I relate a lot more to the remakes especially Skam NL and Wtfock because they speak my language. I get the inside jokes and stuff and therefore they are my favourite remakes. I know that they fucked up some things, but it remains a freaking tv show. Wtfock or any other remake is in my eyes not responsible to educate me. That is my own responsibility. A tv show can certainly help and that is the whole purpose of Skam. Skam have learned me many things about a lot of topics and I am grateful for that. I just want to ask those blogs: Is this really what you want to do with your spare time? And if you want to do that, okay fair play. You are allowed to do and speak about whatever you want.
I hope you realise it is just a tv show and it is made for entertainment. There is already so much hate and negativity in the world and you want to add to it? I am sorry for this essay and please politely tell me if I am wrong but this is how I feel about it. I hope everyone has a nice week!🥰
