I think two things can be true at once idk. Louis has a mean streak and he’ll lash out when he’s hurt. He wasn’t wrong to make fun of Santiago’s stuttering after the man participated in killing his daughter. If someone killed my child I would also burn the town down. I’d do worse. They’d never know peace.

All the same, when Lestat stuttered through September 8 1973 he was very patient and listened to him. He didn’t mock. He held him after, he kissed his face. It helps that he loves Lestat and never really liked Santiago.
