“Maybe in the next life or some other time when I’m less obsessed” - acrylic on canvas, 36x20” (x2) (sold)
The prompt for this piece was our response to what had happened over the last two years or so in quarantine and isolation. During this time, I heavily relied on music and was also figuring out how to live alone for the first time. This meant having the space and the time to feel and process my emotions as they happen and really try to understand and articulate them to others but especially to myself. I find myself and my work to be quite obsessive and this @hollyhumberstone lyric really speaks to me and comforts me in a way where I don’t feel so bad about having big emotions. Thank you for this song, I hope you like the piece. 💙
