My character is up for "auction" in one of those charity fundraisers.
SEND ME ONE . . .
$ : My character will react to your character winning mine after a long bidding war with another bidder where the price got pretty high.
â : My character will react to your character getting into a bidding war with someone but eventually giving up and letting my character be bought by the other person.
⌠: My character will react to yours paying an enormous sum for them that they know yours can't truly pay.
â : My character will react to your character buying them only after a long and awkward pause where no one else was bidding.
â : My character will react to yours buying them... along with buying another of the people up for auction!
â : My character will react to yours buying somebody else and not having bid for them at all.
âš+ : Send this symbol coupled with any of the others and my character will react as if situations were reversed and yours was the one up "for bid."

He could sense her approach, quiet footsteps against the dusty ground audible to his improved hearing. His head cocked slightly, one hand resting on his staff and the other holding his collection dish, a few loose coins rattling around it. Perhaps enough to get a meal for the night, he would count it later, but for now, it could wait.
âComfort and nostalgia for an old blind man,â he spoke calmly, giving away nothing in his answer, although he elected to not answer that she must pay for that response. He was treading on difficult ground as it was, and he had to be cautious.
It wasât the answer that she was seeking, but an answer nonetheless. Though it did little to ease her curiosity about this strange man. Few people paid much attention to what was left of the temple guardians, finding them to be more troublesome than before the temple was stripped of its kyber. In the past weeks since the harvesting began, the only ones who remained were the blind man and his guardian, and she wondered if they would remain long after the Empire withdrew from Jedha. There would be nothing left but an empty temple and faint memories of a dead warrior race.
âThe Empire forbids panhandling on the site of Imperial research projects. I could have you arrested.â Jyn could almost feel the troopers at her back perk up at her words, though she wouldnât let them lay a hand on the man. âUnless you told me how you knew I wore a necklace.â
Send a đ and Iâll introduce you to an NPC related to my Muse.
This means any minor âbackground characterâ in my Museâs life, such as a relative, coworker, friend, rival, etc. that they interact with in their personal canon.Â

She was with the Empire, he could tell as much, and yet he could sense the Kyber crystal hanging at the base of her neck. Unusual in one of the Empireâs young proteges, he noted to himself, for they had been taking the Kyber crystals from the city and he highly doubted it was for making jewelry. No, something foul was afoot, and he had the feeling that it would soon come time to leave Jedha, even if it was his home.Â
âYour necklace for your fortune? Yes, Iâm talking to you,â he called out. It was a risky move, but at the same time, it felt right. Baze would doubtless be happy with him for it- he could feel the other manâs presence in the archway a few feet away but it was worth a try.
The shout was unexpected, so much so that it stopped her dead in her tracks, eyes swiveling from her predetermined path to rest on the monk. Immediately she let the crystal fall from her fingers, back into the hidden safety of her collar. Not even the storm troopers noticed the gesture, though they were quick to try and turn her from her new object of interest after they took notice of the bodyguard behind the monk.Â
âMaâam, the Director is expecting-â
âI donât care.âÂ
âWe have orders-â
âYou have new orders. Quiet or Iâll drop you both into a mining shaft.â
That effectively silenced them, and she was pleased that they allowed her to approach the monk. From a distance, once could notice that he was blind, with the way he reached out sightless with a collection dish, pale blue eyes unblinking, staring.Â
âWhat use would a Guardian of the Whills have for a trinket like this?â

So here's the real question. Do I only go to one day of Star Wars Celebration? Or do I go to all four days? Discuss.

The Empire did not frighten Chirrut. He had survived many things against the odds, including living in hiding in Jedha of all places, an Imperial-occupied city where things could be most vicious. But no one suspected the old blind monk- after all, the Guardians of the Whills had always been present in Jedha alongside the Jedi and while they had been cast out there were still some of them who remained there. It was easy to blend in.
But today there was someone new in the city.
Preparations for the last of the kyber crystals to be mined from the temple were underway, overseen by Director Krennicâs protege. The project had more or less been a success, with few losses on the side of the Empire. The extremists under Saw Gerreraâs command hardly concerned her as she ventured through the city accompanied by her guard, though she knew better than to throw caution to the wind. Jyn surveyed the area carefully, ignoring the disdainful looks she received from the people of the city. Soon enough, when the weapon was completed, no one would dare treat the Empire with such blatant disrespect.
But she could sense someone watching them. Of all the eyes in the city, there was a pair focused on her that brought a chill down her spine. Out of nervous habit, her fingers strayed to the cord hidden beneath her collar, where she kept her motherâs crystal. Times like these, it kept her calm.

Orson looked at her for a long moment. âDonât look at me. He will understand if I am lying to him, especially about you, Jyn.â He sighed looking at his men, luckly they were with them. âI shoudl avoid him for few hours but he will understand in any case. Or⊠We can tell him that we need to stay away for few days more so he will focus on another thing.â He put a hand on her back. âI think it will be the right decision to take.â
Though she never questioned him before, part of her wondered why he would be so concerned with angering her father. They had both seen what he had become these last few years, a man resigned to his work and nothing else. It left her missing the only family she had, but it was for the good of the Empire. Jyn glanced over her shoulder as she felt Orsonâs hand at her back, taking comfort in the soft touch. âI trust your judgement. If you think itâs for the best, then so do I.â

âIâm afraid I canât do that, Cassian.â She kicked away his blaster, far from his reach, green eyes turning towards the communicator that had rolled out of his hand after K2 closed the vault door. It crackled pitifully as she crushed it beneath her boot, aiming her own weapon between Cassianâs eyes.Â
âDid you honestly believe this whole act?â

âBut you got involved in all this because of me.â He looked the mess around and smiled a bit. âWe must leave, they may come again.â He wasnât injured or at least he didnât feel too much pain. âCome, Jyn.â His voice was tired. âI am too old for all this and you are too young. Yes Galen will kill me, I am sure of it.â
âNow is not the time to be the pessimist.â She wasted no time in taking his hand and leading the way out of the compound, grateful for the cover that the Directorâs personal guard provided. âThis wasnât meant to turn hostile. You know that, he knows that. As long as he isnât told about what happened, there should be no reason for him to take any issue with this.â As much as she disliked lying to her father, there were some instances where it was better than giving him the truth.

There werenât many instances of direct combat that sheâd been involved in, but this was far more gruesome than what she was used to. Blood dripped steadily from her bangs down the length of her face, though from the smile she gave the Director, it hardly fazed her. âIâm fine, Director. Nothing I canât recover from.â She sheathed her blaster, glancing at the bodies that littered the floor.Â
âAs long as Iâm in one piece, I doubt the thought would cross his mind.â
