I DESPERATELY hope they do not soften or sweeten parker ellis in s3. like. she dgaf. if a patient has a stupid injury she's laughing. she's probably the type that gossips with john and would be gossiping with princess and perlah. (trying to figure out what was going on between trinity and frank in s1)
she's a good person clearly, I'm not saying that she isn't, but empathetic patient care doesn't seem to be her strongest suit. (passing the suicide attempt patient to trinity in s1, not really caring) and I hope it isn't. I hope she's great in a trauma room, quick thinking, intelligent and perceptive. she does have emotional intelligence as well, but like... she's not so super sweet.
her talk with trinity in s1, "you tired? the patient doesn't give a shit." like she's not the type to sugarcoat. even her pep talk to Mel in s2 was firm, not soft. "this isnt a discussion. it's a monologue, so shut up and listen." idk I'm just hoping they stay true to her character and don't coat her in niceties. I'm soooo excited to see more of her and yes I DO need princess perlah parker interactions so bad

surprisingly forward-thinking of jim henson and co. to make a female character in the 70's that's allowed to be loud-mouthed and violent and kind of overwhelmingly romantic and even a huge bitch at times and not have a moment where any character asks her to change
going through all the muppet movies in a row made me realize that like. miss piggy was made in the 70's. and it's so rare even today to have a character like her. she's loud, she's selfish, she's funny, she's extremely vain, she's obsessed with romance, she's violent, she's kind of annoying, and there's not a single moment in any of these films where she's asked to tone down any of these personality traits. i am not joking when i say that miss piggy might be one of the best treated female characters ever written
This season is being told from Lestat’s point of view. No one thinks of themselves as the villain. They beat us over the head with the whole unreliable narrator, Lestat’s pov isn’t anymore 100 percent accurate than Louis’. Claudia called Louis a slave before in the first season, either explicitly or did the whole yes master thing when they were talking to each other in their heads, I don’t remember which. Also why shouldn’t she be raging? Most of her life with them was against her will, then she and the woman she loved got murdered and it’s still about them. They dragged her back from wherever to make themselves feel better. The part that was wild to me was that after that they went to the park and sat in their little bubble like nothing happened. Not suggesting anyone has to like the show, there are some shows that everyone watched that I just absolutely hated, but some of the arguments just seem like they’re grasping at straws.
