Wanna One - BOOMERANG
Wanna One is an 11 member project group that debuted last year after the top 11 won produce 101season 2. The members consist of Kang Daniel, Park Ji hoon, Lee Dae hwi, Kim Jae hwan, Ong Seong wu, Park Woo jin, Lai Kaun lin, Yoon Ji sung, Hwang Min hyun, Bae Jin young and Ha Sung woon ( in order from their ranks ). To say that wanna one has been a national hit is an understatement. They are one of the best project groups to have debuted ever. It’s going to be really sad once they disband in December, but it’s their golden age time right now, so wannables, let’s join the time we have with ot11.
Earlier this month, Wanna One pre-released I.P.U ( I Promise You) which honest its such a beautiful song. I think it’s going to be one of my favorite songs in the album.
Boomerang and a b-side track named Gold were leaked 4-5 days prior to the official release, which honestly sucked. I’m glad that it did not come on my twitter tl. I heard that some people wished that Gold was the title track, but honestly, I’m glad they went with boomerang. Boomerang is the perfect song to perform live and the dance for it so far looks great. It showcases their talents in vocals, rap, and dancing. Gold would’ve been perfect for like a repackage’s title track, but nonetheless, it’s an amazing b-side where the vocal line really shines.
Line distribution for groups can sometimes be disappointing. I wish, like many others, that kaun lin could have more opportunity to shine. But besides that, boomerang is a really good song that I cannot wait to see them performing on music shows. Woojin is my ult from wanna one so I’m always proud to see how amazing he is.
I pre-ordered the night ver of 0 + 1 = 1 ( I promise you) and I can’t wait for it to arrive! <3
I’ll do an album review once my album arrives, but I can already say that I.P.U & I.P.U confession ver and your name are so far my favorite tracks that will probably be my most played then it’s gold and boomerang.
