Here is my sketchbook work and thought process today. I was stuck on my animation, not knowing how to create a smooth motion form, so I went back to basics and chose to focus on a stickman version of the clip. I found this a lot easier to understand, and decided to use this as my basis for the clip, instead of focusing on the character, but more so the form and movement.

I’m going to try redo my clip of the woman running. I feel as though the motion isn’t as fluid as I would like it to be.

Here’s a video I watched to research different types of animation. I was looking at stop motion. I don’t know if I’ll inlcude it as I don’t think I have the materials at home to do it

This is my practice at traditional animation, using one of my frames from my project. I used filmora, I did this to practice using the software, getting familiar with it. I tried out using sound with it too.

I then started animating the person, I had to take out certain frames because it didn’t make the scene as fluid. I looked at motion in animation afterwards to try and help me with the movement to make it more obvious.

I had to make a DIY lightbox to do my traditional anaimation. It was difficult because the surface wasn’t even, but I had to make do. It is a lunchbox with phone light and paper. I had to do it with smaller proportions because I couldn’t find a bigger light or surface to lean on.

This is my scene for scene analysis for my project.

I initially looked at the scene. I made my scene analysis video. I forgot to include the movie scene. I thought it didn’t make sense for people who haven’t scene the movie then and made it harder to understand what I was saying, so I decided to take it down, reupload and add the scene to it.
