Hey everyone, long time no see! I’m gradually moving my past works—like *Bilbofur*, *The Hobbit*, and *LOTR*—over to X-folio.

I’ve just posted a *Bilbo* and *Bofur* comic I drew back in 2016! Please take a look if you're interested!

↓The following few pages are examples.

Several years have passed since I last drew these characters, as my health has remained very poor, making it difficult to create new artwork. Even so, I was delighted to know that there were still people looking at my work. Recently, I decided to revisit these characters and have begun gradually reposting the artwork on xfolio—a platform that protects works from generative AI and unauthorized reposting.

★After giving it a lot of thought recently, I’ve arrived at the conclusion that these two fall somewhere on the Aro/Ace (A-spec) spectrum.

I imagine Bilbo as polyamorous and demi- (or quoi-) romantic/quoi-sexual, while Bofur is likely polyamorous and quoi-romantic/pansexual.

Both of them love Thorin (especially Bofur, for whom he remains the King), and they will likely always share the grief of having lost him. If you ever see an illustration of them crying, it’s almost certainly because they are mourning Thorin.

I want to cherish every possibility.

If I had to describe them using current A-spec terminology or labels, perhaps the best fit would be "queer individuals who are best friends but also engage in sexual intimacy at times." Of course, I plan to repost this content to xfolio with appropriate content warnings. All possibilities are valid!

My name is Bilal, a son of Gaza that has suffered and continues to suffer from long years of siege and war. After 150 days of bombing and destruction, I was forced to leave my homeland and move to Egypt with some of my family members. It was a journey full of challenges, not only because of the difficult circumstances we left behind, but also because of the high costs we paid to escape the hell of war.

In Egypt, we live amidst other difficulties, where the cost of living is high and living away from home is not easy. But despite everything, our hearts are still attached to our loved ones and family who remained in Gaza, under siege and harsh conditions. We follow the news and we are pained by every new story of destruction.
