I was alive once. Really alive. I had all the things of a perfect life, perfect in my eyes anyways. I got there by climbing through places noone chooses to go. I was happy. Had a place I shared with the love of my life, friends, had money, all that good stuff. I was complete.

As time went on, my world began to unravel. One by one, everything that was good in my life was taken away from me or walked out of my life. Finally, the one thing that kept me going, the love that grew like a wildfire inside me, chose to walk out of my life as well.

Now I'm left here with nowhere to go, a ghost. Burning forever.
