late night giggles with sylus
"come on, guess!" you laid looking at sylus' back. you both were laying in bed, unwinding before sleep got a hold of you and right now you had a case of the sillies. you giggled as you wrote out his name over his shoulder blades which made him shiver in the process.
he looked over his shoulder with a raised brow and an amused smile. "digging your claws into my back are we, kitten?"
"guess what i'm writing!" you smiled over to him and he could only chuckle at your antics. he shifted so he was laying on his stomach which gave you more real estate to his back. you snickered mischievously as you only scooted closer to him, firmly pressing yourself to his side.
you slowly scribbled his name once more. "mm.. is that my name?"
"correct!" you leaned down and gave him a few kisses a his prize.
"well if kisses are the prize, you better keep writing."
it continued on like this for ten minutes. you thinking of words, spelling them out on sylus' back, and him receiving a shower of kisses for his hard work. but of course, being in your presence, with your light scratches and the feeling of your lips on his back, it was only natural that he would succumb to sleep.
with your cheek resting on his shoulder blade, you blinked slowly as you lazily wrote out the words "I LOVE YOU". but all you were met with was the rise and fall of his chest. a fatigued giggle left your lips, as you reached up to caress his head before giving him a goodnight kiss.
"good night, my love."
it wasn't long after you fell asleep that you had turned onto your side. sylus immediately felt the lack of your warmth, reaching in between to see where you were. he let out a soft grunt as he flipped onto his side. but just as he was about to pull you into his chest, he took in the expanse of your back, the red hue of the moon painting out your silhouette.
he reached out and on your back he spelled out the words "I LOVE YOU" before reinstating the warmth between you. you smiled in your sleep, nuzzling his palm against your cheek. he intertwined his legs with yours before nuzzling his face into your hair and taking long inhale.
"good night, beloved."
