Savannah’s Birthday || Open

Kade smiled “hey gorgeous” he said holding balloons and a few bags for Savannah. “Sorry I’m late” he said “it was hard fitting all these balloons in the car and I was nervous so I changed my shirt three times” he said rambling . He was so nervous that Savannah wouldn’t like him . “What’s her favorite color” he asked “little girls like pink” he said looking down at his pink shirt . “Should I change?” He asked concerned

Ella raised her brows a bit in surprise at a mix of his shirt, the balloons and the bags he had. He hadn’t even walked in the door yet and he was rambling nervously so she took a step forward and kissed him gently on the lips. After breaking the kiss, she giggled and took the bags from him. “Relax. Her favorite color is green, but she’ll it’s cute that you’re wearing pink. Come on in.” Ella walked into the living room and set the bags down with the rest of her presents and then returned to Kade. “We can put the balloons in her room so they aren’t in the way.”

He smiled and instantly relaxed when he felt her lips . He looked at her "green" he said smiling . "I'll remember that" he said smiling and he walked in with her . He looked around seeing other bags and things that resemble a birthday party for a little girl . He was so nervous but did his best to relax as he held her hand and walked in

Savannah’s Birthday || Open

A few people had already showed up; a few of her friends, their kids and her family. Savannah was already having tons of fun and as long as her daughter was happy, then Ella was happy. There was a knock on the front door and Ellena made her way over, weaving her way throwing kids running around the house. She opened the door and smiled brightly. “Hey! I’m glad you could make it.”

Kade smiled "hey gorgeous" he said holding balloons and a few bags for Savannah. He smiled “well how about we just go to the store and maybe we can grab dinner” he said . He rubbed her shoulders and kissed her neck “i know you’ve been busy with work, your sister’s wedding and now Sav’s party so I wanna help you relax” he said

“I would love to, but I…” She trailed off, moaning softly as he kissed her neck. She pulled away and swallowed hard, looking up at him. “I can’t. Like you just said, I’m so busy lately. I have to finish up here, go pick up Savannah from daycare, go to my sisters to finish some stuff up, pick up dinner on the way home and get Sav down for bed. There’s just…” She sighed heavily. “There’s so much I have to do. I’m sorry Kade.”

He nodded "okay I understand" he said to her as he made his way back to his busy pile of papers . "Let me know if there is anything I could do to help you out" he said "I'm inly a phone call away if you need me " he said

I would be honored to meet her and your family" he said smiling at her “which reminds me …I need help picking out a gift for her ” he said smiling “what’s her favorite princess ?” He asked “I have no clue which things to get her ” he said

Ellena smiled and kissed him back and looked up at him. “Good I’m glad. My family has been asking about you, so I’m sure they’ll absolutely love to finally meet you.” She giggled and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. “She’ll be happy with anything really, but Tiana is her favorite. Rapunzel too, but you can even just get her a stuffed animal or a coloring book.”

“There’s nothing wrong. Don’t worry.” She smiled. “I was just wondering…” She trailed off and took a deep breath. “Savannah is turning three on Saturday and I’m throwing a little birthday party for her at my house. I was wondering if maybe you would like to finally meet her and my family and celebrate with us?”

Ellena walked up to his office door, swallowing hard as she stood there. It took  her a good few minutes before she finally knocked on the door. When he said she could come in, she opened the door and walked in, closing the door behind her before she made her way to his desk. “Hey.” She smiled softly and stood in front of his desk, obviously nervous. “So..I came to ask you something.”
