Out of 19000+ followers I have, only one of you actually reblogged about this issue, yet a lot of you have reblogged and liked a picture by playboy about catcalling and that how men should never do it.

Additionally, I have received abuse in my ask box (which I will be answering when I can) and threats. In particular death threats and rape threats.

I can see the real problem here already. Male domestic violence and rape is just invisible in our society because we don’t want to talk about this because it just damages the status quo of this fucking website.

Quick story time

I’ve never played Final Fantasy before but my fiancé and I both got FFXIV about a week or two ago and I love it so much!

But here’s the thing

My main is named Lord Viren yeah Yknow like from Dragon Prince?

Second thing

I am very very very socially awkward so I get spooked easily ok

Anyways I keep seeing players and their names are similar to other TDP characters and that’s so fun but there’s no way to confirm that’s why they named them that besides asking and the divine know I’m not doing that lest I annoy them or embarrass myself okay?

So anyways I’m doing quests out in the Slough and who do I see but a player named Soran-not Soren-but similar enough it’s like maybe??? But I’m not gonna be able to ask right? So naturally I walked away.

Skip to a few minutes later and I’m in the tavern and I turn and pause bc I notice my Coeurl Kitten is staring at another players Coeurl Kitten which was precious and the name above the other kitten is fucking Soran and my stomach just like jumped bc not only am I awkward but if this person IS into TDP then I’m not exactly the best character to run into right? And they’re paused like right next to me so I move to the doorway to check my map and they also came over there for whatever reason and I’m like Okay it’s fine they’re probably just doing the same right?

But then I just get this bought of anxiety so I ran out to the road and summoned my motorcycle and drove off. Which is nothing when you hear it from my side

But if they were into TDP and maybe wanting to talk to me or something can you just imagine them like

“Omg dad!?”

And I just ran away on a motorcycle

And I keep seeing them everywhere and idk if I made things weird or if they didn’t even notice

Anyways there’s my story about how weird and awkward I am
