Portrayal is canon-divergent since Noa's consciousness in the virtual world canonically dies at the end of his arc. In this depiction, Noa survives virtually or in his own body. Very much flexible about how to depict his alive status.

He was having a decent day at KaibaCorp. Things were running as well as it can. He sat back in his chair and was staring out the window of his office. He then saw a shimmer appearing from his Duel Disk resting on his desk as he sees his...brother for the first time since the whole fiasco happened.
"...Oh great," He murmurs as he turns his chair to face him. "How long have you been in my servers?"
"I'm afraid I can't answer that. The passage of time has been quite... fuzzy. Not long, I'd wager."
Noah crosses his arms, angling a curious look the other's way. "You're looking well." Clearly Seto escaped the blast in one piece. Presumably the same could be said about Seto's friends and Mokuba. Speaking of Mokuba.
His expression shifts into one of gentle concern. "Is Mokuba okay?"
"Fun is for losers."
"Like you. Last I checked, you're still beneath me in the hierarchy, so as far as I'm concerned, you're not as important."
"And besides. You don't have any of your resources anymore, so while you survived that little diversion from my big tournament, you don't have the skill or the balls to compete with KaibaCorp."
"Mistrustful as usual! You never do change, Seto."
"Did you ever consider that I could be a valuable asset to KaibaCorp? With our combined strength, we could create a boon like none ever before. The bottom line is: I don't care about taking over of your precious company. But I do care about its longevity."
"How many times now has the company been seized by worthless nobodies?" He snorts, shaking his head. "Security has been lacking, you have to admit."
"Guess what, Noah?"
"I don't, care."
"Aww, you couldn't act the least bit surprised?"
"You're no fun."
"!!!"
Mokuba gasps at the feeling of Noa's hand on his shoulder, eyes wide with wonder. It's not exactly warm, but the Solid Vision projections allowed its holograms to touch other beings through an application of pressure where skin would meet skin.
Mokuba's overcome with the memory of Noa's hugs back in the virtual world, and he can't help but keep sniffling to himself, trying his best to keep his voice down so one of the maids outside doesn't get alerted by the sounds.
"I-It was when I woke up inside the pod, after you gave me back my body," Mokuba explains. "After we successfully managed to escape, I sat down in the helicopter and felt something in my pocket."
Mokuba nods his head in the direction of the Duel Disk. On it, allowing Noa to be projected in the room, sits the Shinato, King of a Higher Plane card.
"It was just a hunch," Mokuba says quietly, looking down at his hands. "But it felt like I had that card for a reason, y'know? Like you somehow transferred your consciousness to it and materialized that card in my pocket... because you didn't really want to disappear."
His lower lip begins trembling again. Before Noa can stop him, he's full-on crying.
"I-I can't believe it actually worked. I can't believe it. You must've wanted to survive so badly."
What if the card had fallen out of his pocket? What if he hadn't thought of using the Duel Disk with it? What if he'd simply thrown the card away without thinking twice about it?!
His soul transferred into Shinato?
Deep down inside, Noa has always believed magic and science are one and the same. The only difference being that magic is the science people don't yet understand.
Noa doesn't understand it. He wants to. But more importantly, he's grateful for this second chance.
It's ironic that only after accepting death, that he lives again.
He shakes his head. "I wanted you, Seto, and your friends to live— live the life I couldn't." The tears fall from his cheeks, unable to be stoic any longer. His expression cracking. "I can't believe..." He leans in close, wrapping his arms Mokuba's shoulders. "My wish came true."
Mokuba can't believe it. He just can't believe it worked. It had been a hunch— a feeling— but he'd been right to trust it.
It really was Noa who was standing before him, fully modelized thanks to KaibaCorp's latest Duel Disk's technology. The hologram is unbelievably realistic. When it's monsters that are projected, it's easy to guess they're not real— but Noa looks every bit as human as a regular person would, was he not being projected from the device.
Mokuba can already feel tears welling up in his eyes at the mere sight of his friend. His brother.
"Noa!"
He calls out in response, desperately wishing he could reach out and touch him, but knowing better than to try.
"W-We survived thanks to you. I always wanted to thank you for helping us out of there, Noa!"
It didn't even matter to Mokuba that Noa had been evil for a time— or that he went as far as to possess Mokuba's body to try and escape on his own. What matters is what Noa did in the end.
The emotional outburst has him drawing back, shocked at the tears in Mokuba's eyes.
Noa could feel his own eyes water, touched by the softness of Mokuba's heart. He approaches with caution, wearing a sad smile as he rests his hand over Mokuba's shoulder.
"There's no need to thank me. I did it for you as much as I did it for myself."
Killing his father, as horrible as it made him feel, was the right thing to do. Although fearfully, he has to wonder if remnants of his father's consciousness still exists when he is proven to be alive.
"You saved me," he murmurs softly. "How?"

There's a taunting little smile as Noa sniggers, shrugging his shoulders as his face is fully projected on Siegfried's laptop.
"Hahaha, I suppose you caught me... Siegfried von Schroeder," he drawls in clear, perfect German.
Noa has grown quite dull in this lived existence as a virtual plaything. So naturally, he has decided upon himself to jump from server to server, breaching through endless security systems, for the sheer fun of it. Of course, he decided to play with the firewalls of a certain gaming company and suffered the consequences: he did not get away unspotted.
Oh, how delightful. A challenge for once.
"So you truly were the prat who gave dear Seto a hard time. I must say, I would've been impressed if your half-baked scheme didn't fall flat on its face," Noa tsks.

"Mokuba, you're all right!"
Upon awakening, Noah felt disorientated. But seeing Mokuba again, alive and well, springs him into action.
He rushes on over to embrace the other boy, shocked when he realizes he's phasing through Mokuba as a hologram. He looks down on the floor, blinking at the Duel Disk laying by their feet.
He understands now.
He's being projected as a hologram from the Solid Vision technology. But how exactly did he survive? His last memory is his father, then the darkness leading to his death.

Opening his eyes, Noa stares down at hands and feet, stumbling backwards, phasing through a chair in his holographic form. He takes in his surroundings with wide-eyed wonder. From a quick glance, it looks like he's inside a bedroom.
He's alive? How is this possible?
"Mokuba?" Noa gasps, eyes burning with emotion. Elated to find someone he recognizes and quite frankly, cherishes. Someone he considers his only friend in the world.
Wherever this world may be.
Surely it's the real world, because the last thing he remembers is embracing his father before everything went black. His soul scattering into nothingness. Apparently, fate has other plans.
Noa takes a glance at the Duel Disk sitting on top of Mokuba's desk, noticing the invisible cord between it and his body. Interesting. He turns back to smile softly at Mokuba.
"You survived, didn't you? I'm so relieved."

In truth, Noah did not anticipate any of this happening: his consciousness awake, alive, and quite apparently, around and about, swimming through KaibaCorp's servers like a lost little fish— until now.
"Before you do anything rash, I do not appear before you as an apparition," he insists, his form currently projected as a Solid Vision hologram from Seto's Duel Disk, "but as myself, virtually."

"I'll be a shoulder to cry on, however literally you need."
"You getting too warm? Need something cold to drink?"
"Brought some more tissues and snacks, feeling any better?"
"You're overextending yourself, don't you think? Let me help."
"I believe in you. You can do this. And I'll be right behind you."
"I'll take care of everything. Your only job is getting better, alright?"
"I saw these at the store and remembered you really liked them, so…"
"You don't need to apologize to me. It's not a burden looking after you."
"You're gonna give me grey hairs, making me worry about you like this."
"You're doing your best. I'm not going to ask any more of you than that."
"You don't need to prove yourself to me. I already know you're amazing."
