Zuko sighed as he dismounted the palanquin. It was a hot day, and the sun was relentless. He turned to the group of palace servants who followed him. "I won't need you today," he said. "Wait here. I'll send for you if I require your assistance." The servants bowed, and he set off in the direction of the busy town square. He was here on official business, but he was also looking forward to some time away from the stuffy palace.
