Hello! Tex (He/They) here, too lazy to remake this blog entirely so I just changed up a lot of things. That being said. Hi! I’m coming back to the BoTW/AoC RPC after over a year of inactivity, the brainrot for the Rito has returned, and with that, a completely new reason to come back to my blog.

Tears of the Kingdom Spoilers (for what I’ve gathered, at least.)

Zelda’s in an infinite Causality Loop. Because she’s there as the Light Dragon in the Present in literally the title card AND probably also there with Link before ToTK even begins which is fucking WILD to think about.

Because Zelda’s a Sage of Time in ToTK, and the only other game she WAS a Sage of Time was in Ocarina, We can safely assume that the timelines all interconnected, and that a new loop has taken form. But as also like how many years has it been since BoTW? 5? 10? Somewhere in the middle?

Tulin and Riju note towards it being somewhere between 5-10 but the whole timeline of Kass soon leaving and Penn showing up and talking like Kass was some sort of big ol legend. also Revali’s bow being 28 x3 is very sadge and pitiful for Link to have.

 god that would also mean Dragon Zelda would’ve gone through time and would probably maybe be floating around in Past BOTW, present BOTW and then ToTK, unless they traveled in time to post BOTW pre TOTK

God Aizen in ToTK given all the life and plotting I’ve given him over on discord.. I don’t have to change much up except for Him probably giving Revali’s Bow to Teba so he can hand it off to Tulin when they’re ready. All I know is that this dumbass Rito is gonna see Link again after all of these Zonai structures have appeared for a grand total of 10 minutes before they go back to what they’re doing.

Link Not having the shiekah slate makes sense because Zelda is the one who has it, (at least she has it so he’s not constantly putting his life in danger even more, looking at Wind Bombs, especially. Is it explicitly stated how many years it has been? Anyway I’ve watched way too many speedruns the dupe glitches are canon.

Revali’s body aches more than when he originally mastered his Gale--his ferocity, standing still, but now he was doing it from a running start, doing it from other forms of movement. and he had found it much more difficult to put all that focus into doing it in the midst of action. He cannot protect the princess, he cannot be a good champion if he hasn’t mastered everything he possibly could’ve done. Dawn and Sunrise had passed, and given the position of the sun, Revali’s been at this for nearly ten whole hours, without giving himself more than a minute of rest.

A huff escapes from his metallic tasting throat. Maybe he’s overdoing it. No. No such thing as overdoing it. Revali takes a few steps back, and takes a running start, putting all of his might and focus into pulling off the gale before he runs off the perch. By some stroke of genius, instead of running off, Revali stops, pivots, and takes off. It adds an extra step, but in exchange for doing it first try, he hadn’t thought of a stepping stone.

However, now he was twirling through the skies at a speed that he hadn’t once done before, and it takes the Rito Champion a moment to get stable, soaring much higher and faster into the skies than ever before, dear Hylia he could fly much faster, so that’s what he’d do, see how far one Gale could take him.. he’ll.. he’ll fly towards the Castle. He needs to.. report, anyway.

Outskirts of Rito Village came and went, he looked down during his flight and saw the Hylian Knight... Link, and he sighs. They might as well get this over with, swooping down in a circling motion, letting the current slowly fade away, scoffing to himself about the King.

Revali had jumped down, landing on the sand as he walked towards the portal, the energy glimmering off of it was interesting to say the least, walk through and get to where they wanted to go? That was interesting, not as interesting as the shiekah slate, alright--just equally? He was intrigued by the portal but, didn’t want to be seem that way, so the Rito just scoffs once he gets the idea that they’re watching him be interested in the portal.

[ “Alright, Going through, don’t be slow-” ]

He’d tease them, a bit of sarcastic placed on the tip of his tongue, Revali passed through it and he waited, it didn’t really feel like he was being transported, but to be proven wrong is a common occurrence it seemed to the Rito Champion as he passes from a desert-like area to a darkened blue sky, snow as far as the eye can see, castles and other royal-like architecture spread about the place, and.. overall it was expansive and massive, like he could fly for miles and not be caught off guard by a change of the world.

To be fair, it was exactly what he wanted and yet there was a part of him that was anxious about it all, this is a new world and probably new dangers to be had, and he did really just want to go back home, Rito Village needed a protector in the times following the defeat and sealing of Calamity Ganon, with a scoff in his tone of voice, he didn’t sound impress by the portal’s usage to fast travel, but he was actually pretty.. excited to explore.

[ “ Now do you think someone here could help me get home? These portals must be able to do something similar to sending me back--or at least get someone to help me out...? “ ]

Normal Weather? Or Snow.. Revali needs the colder climates to cool himself off, but, if it didn’t have a wide open sky--oh what is he talking about he’ll find the damn way to fly if the space isn’t there. He’ll just find it himself if he has to. Rito’s Champion, his abilities are still available to him, and his shiekah slate is mostly functional...and then he spots a large portal-looking at the bottom edge of the current land he’s in. For once, it intrigues him, unlike talking to this other dragon is, with a soft sigh and the uncrossing of his arms, he points towards the portal in question.

[ “ I’m guessing I’ll have to be going through that to make more efficient travel? Beats having to fly through this heat. “ ]

Revali nearly forgets to tell them where he wishes to go, but something tells him for a quick moment that they’ll have to go through several of these just to get to where he needs to go. It’s not that he KNOWS, it’s just that there’s words above the portal, and these portals probably don’t connect to other complete regions, and most likely just another area. Whether or not it’s the area they need to be in, Revali doesn’t exactly know all too much. But, what he does know, is where he wishes to go. With a scoff, in jest.

Oh, no, nope, Revali’s indeed done what he’d thought of if it wasn’t just traveling a far distance. That’s why his sheikah slate’s fast travel functions aren’t working--it’s because he’s...not in the same world. This really isn’t good, not only is he unable to get back home--since he was engulfed by something and brought here, but he’s in an uncharted land--is what he would say if they didn’t just mention something about...Dragon Realms. Maybe he’s still on the same planet, just maybe. Maybe far away, but just maybe. He’ll have to inquiry them at a later point, but right now? It’s smoldering hot here. It’s making his feathers itchy.

Mostly it’s the weather making his mood sour, where-ever they could go to give him ample space and cool air, even a normal field would be nice. Anything that wasn’t this hot. People of his Village, the other champions--Zelda. They’re going to worry about his disappearance--he’ll have to find a way to get home even by himself if these...dragons don’t really give any answers as to how to fix this issue. Ugh. First priority is getting out of this specific area. Though...Peacekeepers. That was an odd name to call yourselves, or maybe this was just their name of the domain. Whatever.

What Revali wasn’t going to expect was for someone to approach him rather than the other way around, they had a simple-looking bow, some rustic-design, lightweight. But it looked like they loved using it, from what Revali had watched only moments before. They scoff, of course he’s lost! He looks like a lost child even thinking about it for a few short moments! Crossing up his arms and looking to the ground, trying to not die of heat stroke, his inability to deal with heat on this level is probably why he steered clear of Gerudo Desert as much as possible--as well as avoiding Death Mountain like the plague.

[ “ I’d say no--but I’ve extinguished all options of trying to return home. How does one even get transported this far out? “ ]

How asinine. There is ONE possibility, and that is he’s done similar travel to what Teba and the others did--except with not time and...to another world. But if that happened....is he truly stuck here until they help him get back? Granted if he’s going to be STUCK here, he’d want to at least make sure they’re not all some mastermind bringing people here on purpose. At least making sure they’re not as annoying as Link, as much as he still sort-of holds a grudge against the Hylian Knight, at least they showed him their potential and strengths when they sealed Calamity Ganon away. Couldn’t have been without him!

Revali wipes the sweat from his forehead before re-crossing his arms. He really needs to get out of the heat. Somewhere around the weather of the Hebra Mountains, at least. Worst case scenario, he’ll have to deal with this smoldering heat for awhile longer. Alas, another archer isn’t too bad of a dragon to come across. No one can top him, though.

The LAST thing Revali expected following the defeat of Calamity Ganon with people from the future was to be a victim to these portal shenanigans himself. At first he thought the shiekah slate of his was just sending him to a tower alongside everyone else, but when he braced himself from being taken from his current location, it was a shock to find himself in a completely different location, nothing he’s never seen before---was it that far out of the continent of their own?  Hyrule was massive, but there were stuff beyond the lands he’s grown up knowing. It doesn’t look like anything he’s ever seen before.

With no Rito Champion to help his people, and no way to truly contact anyone, even going to far as to stare down the...wait? Dragons? Alright. This isn’t anything like Hyrule--just what’s going on. Landing up top a vantage point, trying to see if he can travel to any shiekah tower, to no avail. Purah JUST upgraded the travel length and the strength of these towers and slates-- the fact everyone has their own slate is nice enough, but Revali’s outright stranded here, no clue where he is, no clue how he’s going to get back, and worst of all, completely surrounded by dragons... in probably the worst climate the Rito could be in.

Hitching his Great Eagle Bow onto this back, he might as well ask around, not like he has any other idea to get himself back. If it was truly him being taken to a tower--he would’ve been engulfed in that blue light that usually blinded the Rito for a few short moments, but after coming to the realization he didn’t see that--and just popped up maybe a couple thousand miles away from Hyrule, his mood slumps. What a ordeal he’s landed himself in.
