i forgot to post this when i fisnished it...

so uh, this is Zagan as an adult....ye...

i'll try to redraw Kellan and Zagan's teen versions since the originals are old and look like crap...

about the series i was talking about, this is Kellan Duine (adult version), one of the main characters, the series is/going to be about Kellan and his half brother Zagan Raashas and their life (which is fairly average). Kellan is an elf/human hybrid and Zagan is an elf/demon hybrid (oooh sooo original right) i..actually don't know how to explain cus i really just make up the story as i go...

but if anyone where to...i dunno..ask questions about the series/characters i would love to answer them, i think it would help me develop them more

Designing Fantrolls - Tips and Tricks

Keep in mind there is no wrong way to make a fantroll’s design! This is just details I think make a design particularly unique or effective.

Let’s look at the OG troll lineup; what makes these designs so good even though they use the same base?

well, let’s do an experiment and look at only their silhouettes…

Every single troll is instantly recognizable by silhouette. If you see a Gamzee-shaped shadow in the distance, your brain is gonna go, holy shit, that’s Gamzee. Note how even the trolls with relatively similar hair like Vriska and Aradia are distinct from each other!

Let’s look at a few trolls in particular for more specific details.

Kanaya’s design is simple, but great. She has color in her design but it’s actually used pretty sparingly to keep the impact of her bright red skirt. That’s something that’s supposed to stand out in troll culture, making her a bit of an anomaly among the rest, and it lets you know that Kanaya is different from the other trolls in some way – demonstrating character through design!

The shapes that make up Kanaya’s design also indicate her personality. She’s made up of round shapes with very sharp points attached. In character design terms, circles are associated with softness or friendliness, and triangles can be used to indicate danger and sharpness. Fits Kanaya “Clownhunter” Maryam pretty well.
