Anyways, I'm Poe rambling again because I love him but also...I refuse to believe his canon body is like this...muscular? Like don't get me wrong, he looks good 👁️ but considering the same guy (iirc) struggled to pull himself on top of a train car plus most sports he probably did was skiing in his aunt's lodge during vacation, I GENUINELY cannot see him being this jacked. Like maybe more defined thighs and legs but I don't see him as someone who works out the upper muscles so much...that man, if not doing anything physical, is probably writing or reading 24/7.

(honestly the non cgs like on the left is fine in showing the body type but the other one...as hot and pretty as he is, it very much doesn't fit a nerd (imo))

Maggie is so Poe to me. Minus some scenes in s2 because Poe would not be as forward as she is (there will be tension. But not like Maggie full on telling Glenn she'd have sex with him 😭) . But like, they both live in rural areas with existing family members, ended up having to leave their home because it's too dangerous, lost literally everyone in their life...and the one thing that hasn't made them give up is their love for the people they have/had in their life.

Yeah except Poe fucking dies in his route 😡😡😡 literally, maybe because it's me, but I'd gladly let me/the MC die if it meant him potentially going to LA and be happy. IDCCCCCCCCCC LET HIM BE HAPPY!! I BEG!!!

I don't use Tumblr much but roadkill is almost always on my mind. Especially now that I'm very fixated on TWD too?? ....oh if only roadkill was just the zombie apocalypse, I would've just love to see our group surviving and literally only be able to hang on to each other for hope (& love) and support. Like don't get me wrong, I love other horror monsters but like...zombies are so peak to me.

No but like, I still like his route. At least casually reading it but ughhh it makes me so sad and upset that in Howie and Tess routes he at least gets to live happily in the end but in his own route he couldn't have the life he wanted and had to die because his bitch ass nerd of a roommate had to get revenge or whatever.

Idk I just think it's a bit unfair that (from what I've noticed from the other stories I've read) no one else dies in their own romance route except for Poe(granted...all of them died but still)

He should've had a proper happy ending where he and MC get to LA and break the cycle of the whole "their wishes that they worded badly came true!" Because the fact he wished he was loved one day before he died SHOULD NOT HAVE COME TRUE. JUST SO THAT IT PROVED THE WHOLE THING CAN STOP/END.

Ugh, idk, I know it adds drama to the story and ya know, the angst or whatever but I still think it's stupid. He deserves to be happy in his OWN route, if not for MC then for himself. To be that writer he always wanted to be, to write stories and live on for his parents, for his aunt and uncle, for him and MC.

Ugh I have so many thoughts but can't word them properly but let's just say I hate that he's dead.

He's very much alive in my version of his route 😁

Another set of Fictif redesigns: Poe (Roadkill) and Calysta (For the Love of Gods)

Poe was a bit tricky to think of ideas for as I'm not well versed in the summer horror films his character is set in. I made him a little lankier to avoid being generically fit, and kept the academic aesthetic but with a bit more gothic elements and references to ravens for the Edgar Allan Poe thing

In contrast, I changed Calysta a lot. First, I had to give her bigger muscles because I love buff women. I also gave her stone skin and the thick leather belt to add to her title as the goddess of strength. I associate strength with stone, elephants and similar large herbivores, and gentle fortitude. Inhuman-looking gods are excellent as well, and it's why Astrellio is one of the best designs, so I had to go with that

First two redesign sketches :D I like these two designs a lot, so I mostly went about giving them less skinny body types and slightly different outfit inspirations.

Casimir's waistcoat is more 18th century without a collar and added embroidery (butterfly weed embroidery for symbolism), and I gave him a beard because he's been alone, depressed for a while (and I like beards). Then Maeve's colours are tweaked a bit and given more of a heart-shaped/point theme with her hair, collar, and waist because her dress was a little plain.

I miss the roadkill trio so much so just imagine

Poe who kisses you soft and lovingly, trailing from your neck to your jaw until giving you sweet kiss on the lips. He's also the type to give forehead kisses. Your face held gently in his hand as he press a soft kiss to your forehead before resting his head on your shoulder, whispering a little "I love you" in your ear.

Howie who hugs you so tight, spinning you around before finally kissing you. He can't help but get so happy when he sees you! His kiss is the type that gives you butterflies no matter how many times you've done it. Afterwards he'll wrap his arm around your shoulder before talking about his day and asking about yours.

Tess who on some days gives you passion and some days gives you sweetness, on both occasions it always ends up with you giggling as she continues to pepper you with kisses. She might even give you some nibbles here and there, whether it be on your ear, cheek, jaw, neck, or shoulder just so she can kiss it afterwards.
