First off there was a Gundam-style giant robot game called Daemon X Machina from Marvelous Entertainment that’s due out in 2019 (above).

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is getting DLC called Torna: The Golden Country which is due out 14th September 2018.

Super Mario Party is the next instalment of the beloved board-game style franchise, which includes cool new features like being able to link two Nintendo Switch consoles together for a dynamic gameplay experience, swiping between screens at the linked point. Super Mario Party launches on 5th October 2018.

A new fully fledged Fire Emblem game called Three Houses is coming to Nintendo Switch in Spring 2019, this time it’s back to it’s core turn-based tactical combat rather than the hack-and-slash fest of Fire Emblem Warriors.

Free-to-play powerhouse Fortnite is on Nintendo Switch and available to download right now. Is there any stopping this game?!

And finally we come to the bread and butter of Nintendo’s E3 Direct showreel, with the company dedicating over 25 minutes to the highly anticipated crossover beat-em-up. They went into so much detail, but the main highlights are it’s called Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, features every character from all the previous games, including Solid Snake, Wolf and Young Link and new characters such as Inkling Squids, Ridley from Metroid, and Peach; along with GameCube controller support, new stages and a 7th December 2018 release date. There’s a lot of detail here so probably best to just watch it!

Respawn, creators of Titanfall, announced today that their upcoming Star Wars game is called:

STAR WARS: Jedi Fallen Order

It will release Holiday of 2019. Fallen Order allows you to be a Jedi during the time period between Episodes 3 and 4. This was a dark time for the Jedi as they were being hunted down and killed by the Empire. More info should come out next year!
