She had gotten out, after helping some others inside she went out only to find that the last bus had gone and everybody who hadnât caught it was locked in the town. She had only ever gotten locked in one place before and that was a park, but thankfully she was able to get out, she didnât believe that would be the case that time. She began to focus on finding others, especially Aurelia who she hadnât seen since everything started to go down. Her family were also on her mind hoping that they were all alright.Â
There was also a part of her that wanted to help those she knew, try to calm them down even though she was freaking out herself. She sighed softly and found a place to sit just to calm herself down and start to think about who to go to find first. âThis is honestly not what I was expecting this night to be at least my nerves are on something other than performing.â She said not really thinking if anybody was around her or not.

Kaito wasnât equipped for anything like this. The chaos and everything that came with it. He might have been a star cop on screen but when reality hit he was only a part time worker at a ranch and someone who had had enough of his fame. Kaito had been minding his own business as he walked around the building and welcomed the performances but then shit hit the fan and now everyone was in shambles. Kaito was at least glad that he came here by himself otherwise he would have been a worry wart looking for those who were with him. That being said Kaito held his moral high and he was famous for his kindess despite looking like he could just kill about anybody with a single glance. He wanted to help. He wanted to be a hand that could pull people out if they got stuck When everyone was panicking Kaito tried to keep himself composed as he glanced around. âMe neither.â Kaito said after he heard someone talk. âI hope help will be here soon... I canât handle seeing all this panic and people are missing. What else could happen if we stayed trapped here?â He mumbled. He was not a pessimistic person per se but he wasnât going to sweeten the situation either.

Why is my body so tense? And everything is echoingâŠechoingâŠwhere is my drinkâŠââShit!â Frederick cursed at himself as he looked down to his shirt, soaked with deep red wine. He was a driver asleep at the wheel. Simple lights on the ceiling felt like Dodge Ram LEDâs and he was the deer just trying to get across the road. He was âhigh functioningâ or at least thatâs what his therapist would call it if he had one. But for tonight he was barely functioning. Organized events like this always had a bitter air to them. At times it felt like all eyes were on him, despite that being the opposite of the caseâbut in a wayâŠthey were. He had to step it up and be a âgood boyâ for the sake of his family name which had left an obviously harsh taste on the other familiesâs tongues. So tonight he would be the poised and proper man he was supposed to be instead of the sweep you off your feet playboy role he was used to playing. He looked around for a moment for a napkin, his hand over his eyes like a visor before he nearly ran to the bathroom. He needed to pull himself the fuck together. He took a deep breath as he cleaned himself off. Thank god for a black turtleneck huhâŠHe thought to himself as he made his way back out. Bar barâŠneed a bar need liquorâŠhe bumped into a few people as he stumbled his way through. âWhiskey neatâŠpretty please?â He asked with a charming smile to the bartender. He turned to the person beside him and gave his iron clad friendly smile. âThereâs some pretty talented folks up there, huh?â
Kaito although he didnât want to show his face too much to the public was generally a sociable person. Of course after shaking a few hands in Hollywood he knew how to save and keep face though by now he would think no one really recognized him anymore. At least not as the same guy who was known to be one of those action and cop show actors that women in their forties now fawned over. Five years being in Salem had dimmed his light so to speak and now he was only known as the friendly rancher who liked to help everyone but was shit out of luck when his attempt to own a restaurant failed not too long ago. He didnât mind it at all. Heâd always thought he was better off as an employee and not an employer he didnât have it in his bone the ability to establish a proper leadership. He was fine with what he had now and social gatherings like this Kaito was able to show himself a little bit more. He sat down besides the charming looking guy that couldnât help but catch his eye but then again he wasnât exactly here to mingle. Just enjoy the performances and expand his network. Kaito smiled and called for the bartender. âDry Martini please.â He said as he nodded his head and turned his smile towards him. âI agree. Did you happen to find any favorites?â He asked. âI wish I could be up there but the most I can do is swing a shovel or make a decent cupcake. Not exactly sure it can be classified as a performance.â He laughed.
What made you want to work on the ranch and the bed-and-breakfast?
âI happen to be familiar with the place and I used to work a few ranches back in my old days with my family so I figured why not. Itâs a refreshing work in a place like this and itâs a good place to stay under the radar.âÂ

he hasnât actually gone in yet, heâs debating it in his head whether or not he wants to or not. but if he wants to stay around then he thinks he should at least find a job, however heâs not got a lot of cooking skills. heâs so lost in his own train of thought that he turns and just about bumps into someone. he speaks out quickly in korean first before he makes a face. âsorry, i wasnât looking where i was going.â Â

Kaito liked spending his spare time walking around and exploring the city although he wasnât exactly a city person. He just had a strong liking to views and being able to watch people do their routine while he sat back and relaxed. After getting out of the fame Kaito had been laying low as much as he could and years later now he was sure no one could recognize him here unless they had a hobby of watching cheap mid 2000âČs cop shows. It was freeing and Kaito much preferred the life that he lived now. As he looked around and made sure he still had hours before his job he was slightly surprised when someone bumped into him. He didnât catch the Korean just because it wasnât the language that he spoke but he smiled nonetheless. âNo big deal. Are you okay? You were zoning out.â He offered quietly.
