at work today, a couple of teenage boys walk up to my counter and start ordering right and one of them gets a phone call and so he takes it and it’s his other friend on the phone and i’m not sure what they’re talking about but he says,, literally fixes his mouth to say this in 2018,, “nah man, pull that fucking tampon out and come hang out with us, will ya?” and REPEATS the phrase “pull your tampon out” over and over again/in various ways during this conversation and i look at him with a look that can only be described as extreme annoyance and distaste and the friend he was with like pulled him over to pay for the food and the asshat on the phone was suddenly too embarrassed to meet my eyes 🤔
