Rin did not mourn the absence of hearing about Kakashi’s personal collection of porn. It was probably a good thing that she was always more interested in Tsunade-sama’s work instead of Jiraiya’s. After the short walk, and being seated Rin was feeling much more relaxed. This was just catching up with an old friend over a familiar meal. Nothing to stress over, right? Suddenly hearing Kakashi’s voice, she focused on him more than her own thoughts, giving a light shrug. “Just training medical students until I’m ready to get on the field again. Being called sensei still seems foreign every time I hear it, ya know?” It was easy for her to catch up more on the current news in Konoha  with gossiping students and patients, so Rin had a feeling Kakashi’s students weren’t nearly as…well, eager to please as hers were. “Are you still suffering through impromptu challenges from Gai?” she asked, giving a smile that showed while she was interested in how he had been lately, she wasn’t entirely serious with her question.

He listened to her carefully, more comfortable with listening to her speak than having to carry the conversation himself. He had forgotten how easy it was to talk to Rin. A small smile ghosted across his face as she mentioned that she was training medical students. She was no Tsunade-sama, but she was on level with Shizune, he was sure. She had always been a bright woman, learning quickly. "Mm," he agreed, "It was different for me at first too, but it's something I've quickly grown accustomed too. You will too." he replied. Then she mentioned Gai, and he sighed. "As always." They didn't bother him as much as they had in the past; Gai was one of his best friends, a man he could always depend on. "He always has a plethora of ideas for our next challenges." he answered.

Hearing that he would be handling the bill made Rin smile, she didn’t even need to suggest it. Then again, it wasn’t as if the slender woman could rack up a bill to the same level as an Akimichi or anything along those lines. “Ah, thanks Kakashi. I promise I won’t eat too much, ah hah!” This was either going to feel like the longest meal of her life, or the shortest. She wasn’t sure what to say, seeing as her being here before Kakashi after so many years was still shocking. At the same time, her mind couldn’t help but think more about what she was going to order.

He gave her a small smile. He wasn't worried about the girl racking up a bill, but he just was very stingy with his money. He mostly used it to buy porn but...that was another story. One he would not share with Rin mostly because it was inappropriate. Sure she was his friend but she was not one of the guys. It would be most uncomfortable. They were soon at the sushi place, seated by the hostess.  He wasn't good at starting conversations but he tried his best. "Ah...well Rin, what have you been up to?"

It was always a much easier task to catch up with others over food than through other methods. Rin liked the option of quickly shoving a piece of food into her mouth when awkward silences arose. “Sushi it is, then.”

Kakashi was reminded why he liked Rin; she was simple and easy to get along with. He had known about her crush on him when they were younger, but that had been easy to ignore. He was not interested in girls at the time, only raising higher in the ranks. "Ah...well, I'll pay then." He offered, leading the way towards the nearest sushi place.

Rin never wanted to appear weak or like some kind of burden around Kakashi, despite being one of her closest friends, she was hesitant about informing him that she had returned when she first arrived. Looking back on it, she felt a tad selfish. “Do you…have anything in mind?”

Kakashi was not one much for outings but this was Rin, another teammate he thought he'd failed. She was someone he was comfortable around, despite the amount of time they hadn't seen each other. "Ah, we could go get some sushi." he suggested.

Obito rolled his eyes at the other, “Yeah, Whatever.” These adventures of his were probably not even adventures at all, he thought to himself.  He felt the book land on his hand, and he simultaneously snapped it towards him. Lifting up the object to eye level he observed the orange book. The two people on the front to the title itself made his face scrunch up. He gave Kakashi a weird look and continued his focus on the book.  He slowly opened to a random age towards the middle of the book. His eyes darted as he quickly read over the words on the page. His face became pink as he read. “KAKASHI!” He shouted. “U-uuhh, I didn’t think you read this kind of thing.” He chuckled slightly as he spoke. Obito hasn’t been lucky in the women department, and Kakashi reminding min wasn’t helping. “Uhhhh, that one girl that one time. You wouldn’t remember.” He nervously laughed as he lied threw his teeth.

Obito rubbed his stomach, “Pffft. It only looks round right now because of this smoothie, and after I burn it off you’ll see my abs of steel.” He smiled happily.  He perked up when he heard his offer, unsure of whether or not he should. It would be a chance to evaluate his current skills since he hadn’t seen the other in action for a while. Obito pouted and simply said. “Sure.”  The Uchiha shook his head negatively, “No fat? Pffft. Is that even healthy.” He pouted.

Kakashi observed Obito with a grin as the Uchiha opened up the orange book and began to peruse the material. The shout was loud and attention drawing, which embarrassed the copy cat nin more than carrying porn around did. "O-oi, quiet down, Obito, you're drawing attention." he told the man, his peripheral catching the quizzical glances headed their way. "Ah, Obito, much has changed about me since you were gone. I am only a man." he replied, holding his hand out for Obito to give him his beloved book. He quickly called the Uchiha on his bluff. "Ohhh~ I remember her. Goes by the name of Ms. Hands?" he made a clear masturbation joke at him. "Obito, you're still a virgin aren't you?" Kakashi had no trouble asking him that aloud in public, just like he had no trouble reading erotic literature in public. 

He chuckled. "Well then I guess I'll have to see for myself when we go training, hm?" Kakashi was secretly curious as to how strong the Uchiha was now. He realized now that he had two rivals; Gai and Obito. He wondered if Gai would be jealous to know that Kakashi was accepting challenges from someone else. More than likely that would be the case. "I said very little fat, and it is healthy. When did you want to go train?" he sipped on the remains of his smoothie.

I wouldn’t say just recently, but I’ve been staying at the hospital, getting back on my feet once more so I can go on missions again. We should…catch up?

“Walk?!” Gai snorted at the ridiculousness of Kakashi’s suggestion. “We are two fine men at the peak of our youth! Walking is no worthy test of our skill! Let’s see, last time we raced, so this time, we will…” He squinted his eyes and looked around thoughtfully, “We will… AHAH!” Gai pointed enthusiastically towards the forest surrounding the outer wall of the village. “A survival test! A test of strength, endurance, and patience! We will go out into the wilderness, and see who can stay outside the longest! The rules: you can’t leave the forest, and you can bring one item with you! Two young men battling hunger, weather, and boredom in a test of stamina and perseverance! IT GETS ME FIRED UP JUST THINKING ABOUT IT! HUAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!” Gai clenched his fist enthusiastically as he out-leashed a  hardy battle cry.

He knew Gai wouldn't buy that as challenge, but it had been worth the try at least. Now he would be subjected to whatever crazy idea Gai would come up with. Kakashi shoved his hands in his pockets, gripping at the fabric with his fingers, slightly nervous for what Gai would come up with. Nervous? He hated to think that he was nervous, it was more like...anticipative. He could sometimes get out of these things, but Gai was very adamant at times. This is how Kakashi ended up on most adventures, through force. What came out of Gai's mouth had the silver-haired ninja's eyes widening, and shaking his head as the man seemed to get more and more riled up about it. "G...Gai, do we really have time for a two day endurance test? What if Tsunade-sama needs us?' he tried to reason. This sounded like something he was going to get roped into.

Sasuke’s expression didn’t change, but he didn’t know what to say in response to what Kakashi had said. It was strange, and random to say the least. “Well that isn’t my problem,” he said after a moment’s hesitation. The rain hadn’t stopped, but it had calmed down considerably. Sasuke looked out into the rain, contemplating just leaving the miserable old sensei to his thoughts. He just…really didn’t know what to say. Did he not think that Sasuke was going to —

…And that’s when it hit the young Uchiha. The revival of his clan…is that something he still wanted to do? He didn’t let his thoughts show; he merely stared out into the rain, face devoid of emotion.

"Hm. I guess you're right." he answered. "I could always teach the technique to someone else." He wondered how this conversation would end. With the rain slowing down, one of them was bound to leave sooner or later. He was hoping it would be Sasuke; he really despised being wet. All he could really do was stare at the boy's back and think about how alike they were. They both had lost everyone they loved or cared about. The idea that he could have taken the path Sasuke had was frightening. But he wouldn't have; the situations were similar but different all the same. Would Sasuke choose to revive his clan? Only time would tell.

“Your adventures include walking around alone reading whatever, am I right?” he grinned widely. Though this was what he truly thought he does, it’s not Kakashi even liked excitement. His mind did wonder at what kind of books Kakashi read. It certainly wasn’t fairy tales; maybe a mystery novel or something was up his alley. Obito held his hand out casually, “Let me see this book of yours.” He calmly said. His face scrunched up in a pout with Kakashi’s sarcasm, “Don’t doubt me, Kakashi-san!” he replied. One day he would get that mask off, and then he would pridefully rub it in his face for all of his days. “I would know, look at this face it’s irresistible.” He chuckled as he pointed to his face.

Obito scowled at the other, “I’ll work it all off later, I haven’t even finished my smoothie yet.” He pouted as he drank. He looked down at his stomach, “No! I’ve gained more muscle, it’s all muscle.” He spoke as he rubbed his stomach with his free hand.  “Well I do all that stuff too. I eat vegetables ever now and again, they are healthy.” He continued with his pout. At this point he was starting to get irritated with Kakashi’s constant teasing.  “Hn, I’m not pouting! And it’s baby fat that never went away.” He said with an annoyed face. “What about you Kakashi-san you are too skinny and pale.” He retorted.

Kakashi only chuckled. "That usually leads to the adventure." Especially if he ran into Gai. He found that he was dragged into things, not that he dragged anyone else into anything. When Obito asked to see his Icha Icha, Kakashi hesitated. It was his prized possession. Sure he had many other copies back at his place, but this was the one that he carried around. It was precious to him. He had a very strange obsession with his things, and how they were. But he soon gave in, pulling it out of his back pocket and handing it to Obito. The look on his teammates face would be so worth it. "Open up to any page." He grinned. There was that pout again, always present when the two were together. It seemed liked as long as Kakashi teased, the more Obito would pout. "Oh yes, so irresistible. When was the last time you had a girlfriend again?" he chuckled. 

"Why yes, I can see the six pack gleaming through your round stomach." He sipped at his drink, a playful glint in his eye. "If you want, you can come train with me." That was a serious offer. He wondered if the Uchiha would take him up on the offer or just pout and refuse. He then looked down at his own figure. "Too skinny and pale? I'm lean. I just have very little fat on my body from my healthy diet and training regimen." he replied.

Sasuke stared at Kakashi, wondering why he would say something so random. “Why? Because I’ve turned it into something more?” he asked with a head tilt. “I would’ve found something either way, Kakashi. No need to regret it now.”

His eye had drifted to the floor, but it slid up to gaze at Sasuke. "No." He answered. It was good that the technique had become more, that part was extraordinary. "It would have been better to teach it to someone else. Someone who would pass it down to another." And that was as far as he would say on the subject. As far as he was concerned, he didn't see himself having kids. He was the last Hatake. All of his techniques would die with him.
