New music from the Thrillafair Hive!
Now where were we,
Last time we meet I was ranting... mainly due to lack of sleep or maybe it's the other way round? I do have to really force myself to sleep. You see, the first few hours of my day are almost a complete write-off as I slowly piece together a plan for my day in a zombie-like fashion. (An affliction I am now attempting to remedy by doing exercise in the morning - more about that later) Then, as the day goes on I become more and more stimulated until we reach an appropriate time to do some sleeping... I'm not tired though, in fact I think I'm just getting started. Time to self indulgently spew my every last thought all over the internet. (I note that the time is 00:59)
Well look, if you've read this far I'm gonna go ahead and presume that you are somewhat interested in what I'm writing, for some reason. If not.. WHY ARE YOU STILL READING? Fuck off back to what ever porn sight you originally intended to grace with you super cool cyber presence... bla bla bla... sorry, I digress.
Anyway, I need not have worried as my reapplication to University was successful as was Alastair's. Time to start looking for a flat. A fixed residence of Kakuzi has been overdue some time now. We have shared living space briefly in the past but I feel a permanent space to call ours will open all sorts of creative doors. OR, maybe we will kill each other - who knows?
All of this will have to wait until September though. In the mean time more pressing matters are at hand: We have now released our first single with 'The Animal Farm', Ville and the guys over there have been great. Really looking forward to the next release 'Animal' due to be out some time at the end of this month or early April. Which brings me back to my new fitness regime. I have set myself a nearly impossible challenge of getting in shape in time to shoot the video. (roughly about 3 weeks away) I figure it's not going to do any harm even If can't get the Brad Pitt look by then.
Well thats about all we have time for this month..
A few quick mentions:
Massive gig coming up April 23rd @ Scala supporting New Order and Joy Divisions Peter Hook - gonna be huge, get in touch with us on facebook for more details.
Track posted at the top is our latest effort in the Thrillafair project. Please, get involved. Just contact me or Will 'Mashonit' Hatton with you idea.
Our mates Nylon Sky are shooting a video for the foot stomping single 'Fee Fi Fo Fum' this Sunday at the Native Tongue in Epsom. I believe all are welcome to come down.
And lastly - Rolling in the Deep by Adele.... A truly stunning record, a real gem in a sea of shite. Compare this to the embarrassingly awful latest effort from Kesha. Why do we have to put up with this, I have no words. Anyway, well done Adele for making the best record Radio 1 and Capital are likely to play for a least the next 12-18 months!
