AFP - Episode 20: Honest Schmuck- The Finale

To those of you who watched from beginning to end- Thank You. I’m glad you came along for the ride ;)

Especially if you helped support us on Patreon. That means the world to us.

While AoJE was, for the web at least, more traditional, AFP was a little experiment for us. Everything was clearly explained form Jane’s perspective in AoJE, but we took away that clear narrative to play with perspective and truth in All’s Fair Play.

Reading the youtube comments, especially through the third act of the series- I was happy to see how many of you had become invested in the story. It’s been really delightful to read those comments and to get your messages.

To everyone involved- Thank You.

I know All’s Fair Play was definitely ambitious. And I saw our cast and crew pull off small miracles daily, and I’m so proud.

Of course, it’s important to take stock of what works, what doesn’t, and how to improve. So in the next few weeks, as we wind down and feedback is always welcome.

So what’s next?

First- a nap. My poor post-production team needs to sleep. The crew and the post team are the unsung heroes of every shows, cause while everyone works hard- no one every sees them huddled behind their laptops deep into the night fighting the evil that is a slow rendering clip.

As for our next project…… I can’t tell you yet. I know. Sorry. But for once I’m not being purposely evil.

We have a few things in the air- a few things buried deep in our brains, and a few more opportunities than before- some of which is time sensitive. So we’ll keep you updated as we go! But we’ll be writing and planning soon enough. Maybe even about something you recognize ;)

Time to binge rewatch all over again! A thought: Would you guys at @kalama-tea be up for some episode commentary? Maybe about the shakespearen elements you chose to integrate during certain scenes (and why you chose those particular elements), things that might have gone unnoticed, easter eggs, or perhaps some self-meta? (is that even a thing?) It would be really interesting, if possible!
