The brilliant Lou Eyrich created the costumes for Feud: Bette and Joan and I was in awe of her impeccable taste and attention to detail. I could talk to Lou endlessly about fashion and costumes.
I loved being able to focus on the female directors of “Feud: Bette and Joan” and to spotlight Ryan Murphy’s new company, Half, and his efforts to make all of his show’s crews half female and/or minority hires.
I directed the first promo video for Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life, with the dreamy Lauren Graham.
Had the best time shooting all the BTS on FULLER HOUSE. What a great cast and crew. And, yes, they all look this good IRL. It’s crazy.
If you loved FULL HOUSE you will love this show.
Epic promo for an epic episode. :) #gleehee
One of my all-time favorite vids - and not just because I shot a lot of it :). It should be noted that for years after this episode, every so often the sound guy would randomly just play “Are you okay Mr. Schuester? You look a little green!” and it never got old.
Behind the scenes of “Props.” This was one of my favorite episodes to be on set to witness, and probably my favorite BTS interviews.
Loved working with Matt Bomer on this ridiculous faux audition tape. I always wonder if Michael Bay ever saw it. 😄
Having actors hurl hard balls at each other is probably not the best idea but the cast still managed to have a blast. However, this may have been the most injuries ever incurred during just one scene.
It’s been two years...
It’s been two years since we lost our beloved Cory Monteith. In some ways it feels longer but mostly it feels like only weeks ago that I last saw him.
I’m so touched and overwhelmed by the continuous outpouring of love and support for Cory. I can promise you it is well-deserved.
Over the course of 5 years working on glee, I spent countless hours with Cory and I can honestly say that he was always, without fail, kind, respectful, warm and engaging. It wasn’t an act he put on for the fans or for the media.
Cory looked out for people and made everyone feel welcomed and important. He had the biggest, most genuine heart that you could feel when you were with him. And he was so incredibly funny. He just innately understood how to find the humor and absurdity in most situations.
Cory loved Finn and the show. He understood how much it all meant to so many fans and that it was no small thing to have that level of love and support from even one person, much less millions.
I could write page after page recounting all of my memories of Cory but this was just a brief way for me to say to anyone reading this that if you admired Cory and feel a loss from his passing, just know that you are not alone. Know that your kindness and support meant, and still means, something to Cory and the glee family and, in the end, we should all feel so grateful to have known him, in any way that we did.
Cory, I love you and miss you.
