I think a lot of transmisogyny stems from this idea that people are really scared to see a dick. The reason bathrooms and locker rooms and hot springs keep being flash points is because these are all places where if a trans woman is using them, it's possible you might see her dick. A lot of transmisogynistic humor revolves around being traumatized because the subject saw a woman with a penis. And look, to a certain extent I sympathize. I'm not a fan of dick; I dont want this thing either. But if you want to be an ally to trans women, I think a big important step you can take personally is to examine your own reaction to the scenarios I described above, and recognize that a dick is just a body part a girl has sometimes. Seeing it as inherently sexual and/or traumatizing is a major wedge conservatives use to justify their rhetoric

I really think we do need entirely isolated change rooms. Honestly, I don't want to be around naked strangers at all. We need to give up the stupid illusion that it's any different because of genitals.

It's kind of messed up how we're so atomized as a society, but yet we have zero privacy.

Oh! @meret118 see above comment! The use of the word "enjoyers" instead of "users" or "bloggers" -> You left a comment a while back asking, "Does this just mean vocabulary words? Other than blorbo and sweet cinnamon roll etc, I can't think of what a Tumblr accent would be." I almost never see anyone use the word "enjoyer" anywhere outside of tumblr, but I see it on tumblr fairly frequently.

Another one is the verb "perceive" i.e. "don't perceive me" "I am perceiving" "I am being percieved." That's something that feels very specific to tumblr parlance.

There's the thing where people on tumblr have an emotional reaction to something and instead of, or in addition to telling you how they feel about it using emotion words, they will narrate a fictional action in the present progressive tense. "I am gnawing at the bars of my enclosure "I am kissing you on the mouth" "you are going into the soup" "you are getting all of the awards"

I once saw someone use that response format in ... I think it was a restaurant review, or a doordash review, or something like that. It was very unexpected seeing it outside of a tumblr post.

There are a lot of other tumblr linguistic quirks I can't currently remember off the top of my head, but I'll instantly recognize them if I see/hear them outside of tumblr. It's always a bit startling to see them out of context.

My tic is an absolute crank ball. All they do is say "kill me" (sometimes repeatedly) when something bad happens, or I think about trauma. Although, sometimes they're a jerk, and leak whatever is in my head, like a memory-unsafe application. I wish whatever coded me would have actually done it in a language like Rust, so I wouldn't have these issues. I sure do feel physically rusty though.

While watching a DVD from the library my TV popped up a message saying to press a button if I wanted to watch this from additional providers.

It's never done that before so I looked it up and turns out Roku TVs have added all sorts of creepy things in the privacy section since I last checked.

One of which being they take screenshots from what you're watching and send them to third parties to identify it.

Fucking hell! Remember when every fucking device in your life wasn't a spy implanted in your home and working against your interests to try and sell your data? Remember how nice that was??

It feels kind of like there's some evil, omnipotent force behind capitalism. It's like you can run, but you can't hide. They always know where you are, and they're just taunting you to see you suffer. Kind of a similar feeling to a nightmare. I swear, it's like they have the ability to bend reality to shape society to their will.

It's like playing a horror game.

This is well represented in the absolute control over media, as well as social media platforms.

I know that it's not actually unstoppable, and we can get rid of it at some point, but man, does it ever feel immovable.

It's kind of surprising how similar my current illness (probably POTS) feels to the way the music video to the song, "Broken Cog" by Meshuggah is animated.

The smokiness kind of feels like the brain fog and dizziness I deal with. It also comes in strange waves that almost feel like the flashing of the rhythm of the song.

Not to mention the barely noticeable, fuzziness that I feel in my body.

And the way the humanoid looks at their body Is kind of similar to the way it feels to suddenly feel the gravity of how I feel when it happens to me. It's like I partially astrally project.

Also, just the intensity of all of the sensations I feel at those moments. It's like everything is overstimulating. Even if I can't notice anything, it still feels overstimulating.

The ambient guitar in the background also represents the anxiety of the situation very well.

Also, the way the room spins is similar to the way I feel like the room is spinning.

I'm slowly working on editing Pokemon Prismatic Moon, a ROM hack of Pokemon Ultra Moon created by Buffel Saft. I'm looking to make it quite a bit easier than the original hack so that people who just like casual gameplay (like me) can enjoy a gen-7 catch-'em-all ROM hack.

Is there anyone actually interested in this?

I'm working on it pretty slowly, due to my current, unknown illness. I'm also only able to do it with the expertise of the ROM hackers in the 3DS, Pokemon, ROM-hacking Discord server.

If anyone wants the mod files for the hack, feel free to reblog or comment with the request. I'll upload the mod files to some service like GitHub or something if someone wants to try it.

I made quite a few edits and I also have quite a few planned edits. I'm a bit tired to list them at the moment. The important one is an edit to battle.cro that allows mega evolution regardless of whether it's been unlocked in the game or not. I'm also planning to edit an item or add one that works as a portable pokemon center. I also have lowered the levels of wild and trainer battles to about a max of 60 to compensate for increased AI difficulty. I can also make harder versions if anyone wants. You can also just replace the trainer and wild encounter data in the hack with the ones from Prismatic Moon. I can show you how to do that.

Please feel free to give any requests for things to be added in! I'm really new to this though, so I can't guarantee I'll be able to do it though.

I know that copyright is really problematic and a lot of instances, and we definitely need to find an alternative funding model for artists that doesn't involve depriving people of collective property, but at the same time we really need some way to combat lack of attribution and plagiarism. I just spent like 10 minutes searching for a single song that was in a YouTube short that was unattributed. This needs to become standardized.
