Why are they giving the Bellaphones new powers and calling it a new race????

People back in the day actually made fan bellaphona classes (maybe offical?) I found a old post abd art about it <3 so I think this was in the cards for awhile but is being redug up now

I suspect what there doing is that the fandom/Wakfu team wanted the option to play as the dragons (like how folks wanted to play as Elia's) but lore folks went 'no' so after some work shopping they came up with this like they did with Elios and higherups/tot approved or it. that or it was a pet project and was requested to be put in the games.
