My lil void elf! He’s a delightful combination of Gomez Addams and a really gay pirate conspiracy theorist. He’s also not neurotypical by any means and a few shadowy whispers in his head barely phase him. He was (and sort of is? I just play him as a priest because it’s more fun to me!) a mage who likes dabbling with things he shouldn’t.

A very wiggly OC of mine. His name is Newt and he’s a weird fae based on various sea creatures, mostly a bunch of sea slugs.

I had never drawn a tauren before so I just had to try? My druid Threemoon is incredibly chill. Will probably cook you a nice vegan dinner and tell great stories around the fire. Perpetually smiley, gentle and charming.

Maybe I COULD try to draw a less strong jaw for once. Huh.

I feel like I draw faces in a very specific way? The rest about my art changes a lot but faces. Oh man. Even if the features aren’t exactly comparable, there’s something about the proportions, CheekbonesTM and strong jaws that always strikes me as a very “me” thing when I look back at my work.

To anyone who worries about their art style not being defined enough: 

Unless you do commissions and can’t in any way predict or control your style for each piece, it’s nothing to worry about. Your vibes translate into your lines and sometimes you’re just feeling different, you know? It’s okay. Let those lines live and change and your hands and brain have fun. Some people just kind of ARE all over the place with their style.

I always want to encourage experimenting with whatever you feel like experimenting. Let your instincts take over every now and then and just, idk, mess around with art. Find that inner child with the crayon in hand and a whole white wall in front of them, you know?

The more you try to fit yourself into a certain way of drawing from the get go the more likely it is that you won’t find one you’ll eventually feel happy settling for. And really, you don’t have to settle if it doesn’t feel right. Do whatever the fuck makes you happy.
