Me, seeing it’s a letter from Yann: “What kind of bullshit is is this man dragging me into now?”
I swear Kliff is raising a full grown man at this point. Cause I’m tired.

Greymane apprecciation post
Greymane entered my multiverse only a year ago during the second Oregon Trail challenge as one of the wagon train's spare horses. In the beginning he got ridden by Daniel and Gavin interchangeably, as is evident in the screenshot.
During a river crossing Gavin, Greymane and an unnamed horse got separated from the wagon train. In retrospect this was where his bond with Gavin got formed.
When Gavin rejoined the wagon train he addressed Greymane - the first mention of the name - despite riding the other horse.
Later on in the challenge first Gavin's partner Daniel and then his foster son Connor rode Greymane. Both Daniel and Connor were spellcasters in this save, whereas Gavin turned into a werefox. Apparently Greymane is more comfortable with casters than weres.
I re-introduced Greymane in the 1760s save when Hank joined the army and needed a horse. Hank was a spellcaster here, so Greymane liked the match.
In his role as a somewhat erratic officer's horse he proved endlessly patient...
...and at one point even stood model for Connor's carpentry.
Meanwhile Gavin rode Bonny (like he did in the 1850s and 2050s) but they always had a distant, professional relationship.
And then things changed when Sims 4 got real horses. I retired the old Greymane model (that was actually a reskinned bicycle). Greymane entered the 2050s save as a rental horse in the tourist trap where the Reeds spent their Christmas.
The first night ingame the "new" Greymane attached himself to Gavin, who reciprocated to the point where it was obvious that they were bonded. Meanwhile Bonny continued to be indifferent to individual sims, preferring none but neither rejecting any (which is exactly how I imagined her).
Greymane appeared in the Star Wars setting as Greylock (because his new breed has no manes). From the beginning he made it clear that he tolerated cities at best and also that he is rather sensitive.
Gavin at several points mentioned proudly that Greylock was a thoroughbreed descended from war horses (a reference to him having served in the cavalry in the 1760s save).
Greylock reacted strongly to the force, bolting when he encountered a dark side nexus (ingame: Dreadhorse cavern) together with Gavin and Connor, yet remaining calm near the crystal cave (the one near Black Spire).
It started as a joke, but he's definitely force sensitive.
Then came the day when Gavin tried to run away from Hank's household in the dead of night. Greylock, however, continually threw Gavin until the sun was up, preventing the desertion.
By that time Gavin already was a good rider, who should have stayed on, so with a little imagination it can be inferred that Greylock had an agenda here: Don't leave yet, you're not ready for what lies ahead.
Later on it was Greylock, who interrupted a duel between Hank and Gavin, bringing them back to their senses and reconciling them.
If that made him appear wise, let me tell you that Greylock isn't modest at all. He occasionally participated in races and his pictures with Gavin always have them both look as if they already owned the cup.
Greymane returned in the Castaway challenge, that has none of his previous riders. I paired him with Corra instead, who'd later develop force powers (aka the spellcaster lifestate).
Greymane isn't the nicest, either. His way of preventing Phasma from falling off her own horse was to bite her into the shoulder.
His traits are NEEDY, INTELLIGENT and DEFIANT, but ever so often it is the little things that shape a sim’s character more than their official traits.
So when in the previous post Greymane ran away from the bridge, my sims have to take that serious. Whatever lies beyond the bridge isn't of the light side.
