My love for the country began with a simple yet iconic Hosseini book suggested by my most favourite Literature teacher and There i was falling in love with words .
I remember the days we would chat about the book 6 years ago and I would tell her how much I wish I could visit the country because I m so fond of it and the afghan boys ofcourse ;) I think all of my friends at the time knew my love for it some would even help me by creating fake accounts 😂 and I would spend days talking and showing them pictures of people during computer period , I would ask my father everything he knew about Afghanistan and would spend nights getting educated about the culture the food the cities the poetry the political viewpoint or how much the youth cherished Bollywood
I think I really knew it all .
I dreamt and I dreamt
But today I ask myself : what do I do with this dream, where do I put it down because it feels so heavy
