It’s finally done!!! This is officially the thickest book I’ve bound to date, coming in at 828 pages (796 of the fic itself). The Oxford hollow + bradel combination worked so well to support the textblock’s weight, and the foiled faux leather is super pretty, so I’m really happy with how everything turned out! I’ve learned a lot over the course of binding this that I will absolutely be using for my next thick bind.

there's something kinda funny to me about certain ways scar tends to be drawn because it's like. okay imagine hypothetically you took a distillation of fanon scar designs and showed it to someone who's never even heard of a minecraft, and asked them what they think this guy might be like. we're ignoring context here, pretend we're showing them a ref sheet. and it's like, alright, here's a rugged looking buff guy. nice abs. lots of scars. he's got a smug grin on his face. very shirtless. he looks like the love interest in a bodice ripper. i bet he's got some dark angsty secret he keeps buried underneath that suave facade. but not buried too deeply, just enough to intrigue.

and then you go watch third life and he is like a cat whose owner keeps desperately trying to make him stop eating plastic.

I wasn't going to draw hc s11 fanart bc I'm not watching it but I keep seeing "drawing buff firefighter pearl!!!" All over my dash and then she's a flipping twig and it made me so mad I drew her ACTUALLY buff (not making the claim that in this drawing she's the buffest ever but trust me it's better than what I'VE been seeing 💀)

Edit: I have no issue with people drawing firefighter pearl skinny it just gets on my nerves when they say they've drawn her buff and they didn't even try they just made her shoulders slightly wider 💔💔💔
