I have not yet watched the video of George Floyd’s murder. I am afraid... I don’t know what I will do if I do watch it... I still don’t know if I should watch it... Rage is inside... All I can think right now is that no US embassy on the African continent should be open until people of color are treated with human dignity in the United States. African governments should demand this to their US counterparts as those being killed look like us... To my brothers and sisters in Babylon... rest assure we are doing our part in Africa to organize and tell your story. ‪Joseph Kabila invests in what he believes in: killing Congolese and staying in power by any means necessary. He has invested over $5 million dollars to pay lobbyists in Washington via an Israeli security firm called Mer. Results: the Republican president Donald Trump has been quite timid in cutting ties with the Kabila regime. Kabila also has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars to pay rebels residing in Rwanda and Uganda to return in Congo, wear Congolese uniforms and kill Congolese people who are protesting. Now... I don’t own a gun... I don’t believe in supporting rebel groups in Congo. I believe in people’s power as we engage and support each other to free ourselves globally from our chains. As I see how much resources is being put to kill Congolese youth, I hope you will support us as we provide the youth with the necessary tools of mobilizing. It may be hard to grasp but amplifying the voice of the youth is a protection to them. What the regime hopes is for the world to not know what is happening. Sending anyone in the streets when your military is made up of rebels is sending the people on a suicide mission. Just think... what if you went out to protests and the American police used live bullets to disperse the crowd, would you be outraged? Foreigners/rebels backed by foreign countries are wearing Congolese army uniforms and police uniforms. They are shooting at protesters... and everyone is watching... When you watch the protests in Congo, you know the youth is ready to give their lives for a new Congo... I believe they should not die in vain. A protest in Congo can be a death sentence when your own government is sending rebels to stop you from protesting. Just think about what the report has documented: the Congolese government has brought in Congo from Uganda refugee camps the M23 rebels who were trained, equipped and financed by the Rwandan government. They gave them Congolese police and army uniforms and deployed them in cities like Kinshasa, Lubumbashi and Goma so that they could fight off anyone protesting Kabila. Pretty much people protesting on the ground are being sent on a suicide mission.... This is what we are facing... The Congolese government cannot do this without the cooperation of the Rwandan and Ugandan governments. I don’t think people will understand fully the extent to which this situation is insidious. Killing your own people with the backing of neighboring governments back by the West...

International journalists covering the Congo must stop saying this: “Kabila took office after his father Laurent was assassinated in 2001 at the height of the Second Congo War.” Joseph Kabila did not take office after the death of his “father.” Congo’s governmental structure is not a monarchy. After the assassination of Laurent Kabila, Joseph Kabila took power in a military coup. The West recognized his legitimacy and that is the only reason we are still dealing with this man since 2001.
