I think konan is not fit to be in a normal relationship because she really is broken beyond repair, meaning that she either

stays on and off with someone just for the thrill of it without attachment

stays with someone who is literally the worse possible person for her but because she doesn't respects herself enough due to her belief that she is the world's biggest scum and a wretched creature she thinks this is what she deserves it

after surviving obito's attack in The Pillar verse, konan had to tend to her own injury; a piercing wound in her abdomen, using her own paper and some medicine knowledge she acquired from training under jiraiya. she managed to recover, but she has two scars, one on her back and one on her stomach, and she has random pangs of pain on both spots.
