She would kill in this outfit. Do you see the vision?
Something neuroscience-y that helps with prose: attention is selective. A character will not notice everything in a room. They will notice what matters to their goal, fear, desire, training, wound, or obsession. A jealous character notices hands. a hungry character notices food. A soldier notices exits. A lonely character notices pairs. Description becomes character when attention has a bias.
Yes, this so much this. Especially when in 3rd limited or 1st. Notice what matters to the person who's head you are in. Not only does it help emphasize headspace and character, but it *keeps tue ball moving*.
Unless you are going for a super flowery prose meant to drip from the page like fresh paint you can skip so much and let the reader's imagination fill in gaps.
Tbh I think the "but data centers are important infrastructure, not just AI" talking point misses that like
Ok so roads are important infrastructure. A lot of stuff that's important happens on roads. Now, let's imagine that quadrillionaire Matt Stench has decided that the next big tech innovation is the Wide Car. It's a car that takes up six lanes despite seating only one passenger.
The Wide Car is supposed to be the future, and everyone's going to be driving Wide Cars, even though nobody who makes Wide Cars is turning a profit. Employers are offering Wide Cars as an employee benefit, and getting "nah." Some employers are going as far as demanding their employees drive Wide Cars, and the result is that people take time out of their workdays to get in the mandatory gas usage for their Wide Car before driving home in a regular car.
In spite of the fact that the Wide Car is clearly set to fail, there's an enormous push to expand to twelve-lane roads to accommodate a bunch of Wide Cars that simply will not materialize. This is not an organic response to demand, but a speculative investment that amplifies the existing issues with road development for no good reason.
That is the problem.

some notes on Dinosaur Girl
The biggest fault in playing magic the gathering online is not being able to physically strangle your opponents. When the fuck did everyone else get the fucking Turbo Steroid Decks starting every game with some fuckass zero cost card going "if you have seven cards in your hand rn you win immediately no matter what" that summons a 12/13 Fuckzilla with vigilance and deathtouch. Like oh wow wowwee congratulations fuck you. I wonder if your mother is self-aware enough to regret having children.
All I'm saying is that if your entire fucking deck consists of cards that are all just instants of "kill every creature that your opponent just fucking cast in their last turn uwu" and your entire game tactic all just boils down to preventing me from playing, I should be allowed a dialogue option of saying "Wow. You should kill yourself."
