I'm so normal and crying while listening to Forever Young while thinking about Jonah Magnus.

Dont get me wrong, Jonah is disgusting. He puts people, the ENTIRETY of the WORLD at harm for his own wants. He is the definition of selfish. Going as far to sacrifice his own friendships and of course, his own humanity.

Its ironic that Jonah believed all his work over 200 years would lead to him being immortal and all powerful. That he really didn't take The End into account. EVERYTHING dies. But he's kinda delusional.

Yet, it's almost funny. Death, or the fear of, is possibly one of the most human things of all! It is certain, it is scary. Jonah gave up his humanity. But all his drive, all of his decisions, are rooted in this: one of the most human traits ever.

I hate that when I think about him a bit too hard, I really understand him. The chance to live so much longer, to enjoy everything you may have never got to.
