On this image I wanted the subjects to be out of focus. I SAY THIS AGAIN. WE ARE NOT DIFFERENT FROM TREES, PLANTS, ANIMALS, BACTERIA, ATOMS etc. However, humanity - because we have a conscience and we think we know it all - keeps excluding itself from Nature. We made a facet called Nature and excluded ourselves from it. Plants need water, land, air and fire. The basic 4 corners that we also rely on.

Asanda Gumede - IQ Leadership

Ever wondered what happens to Education when the technology keeps propelling? Well I had the chance to be with the founder of a very great initiative called IQ Leadership -IQ Smart

Asanda Gumede is the founder and CEO of IQ Leadership, a Distribution and Educational Software company that helps learners increase their potential in the classroom. Currently, he is responsible for the smooth operation of IQ Leadership. He employs over 12 individuals and on a daily basis, he oversees the production of the educational software and makes sure that all his sales consultants are aware of what they need to do. He believes that his role as a CEO is not to Micro Manage but to ensure that the Partners and employees are working towards the Vision and Mission of the company at all times. Mr Gumede does not believe in sitting at the office, he wants to get his hands dirty! He will join his team in the field at Malls where they sell the educational software. Even a name came out him and his sales consultants, “The Rain Maker” they call him this because when he is on the field the selling game changes, people will come in like flock, He brings a positive energy!

Professional Accomplishments:

Asanda Gumede completed a Business Management Diploma at a community college in a little town called Umzimkhulu in Kwazulu Natal, He has also completed a Leadership Certification course at St Albans College. With no doubt, he believes in Honesty and Integrity in the workplace, he also believes in thinking every decision you make over 3 times. He incorporates this into the workplace and personal life by always reminding those surrounding him to always think ‘’thrice’’ before taking any decision, also that it is always easier just to be honest. Asanda believes that in order to Run you need to first walk.

In Addition to being a Chief Executive Officer, he consults for Rethink Consultants as a Senior Consultant, He does volunteer work for charity, has also showcased his talent on Mzansi Magic Tv Show “ Date My Family”

Asanda Gumede is driven by changing lives and forging a pathway for his siblings. He grew up in a big family being the eldest son, he holds the responsibility of creating something bigger than him. Asanda always whispers that “Knowledge is key” and he wants to reach every child in South Africa with his educational software movement, he has a vision of every household being exposed to this educational software as it can literally change many lives.

Growing up in a disadvantaged community in one of the of the villages in KwaZulu-Natal, Asanda has since made it his sole mission to improve the lifestyle of where he came from and himself.

Outside work, Asanda is quite fun, he takes up several fitness activities including a daily 4:30am Run. He believes that when your brain wakes up this early, automatically you will be ahead of everyone the rest of the day. He also takes up Muay Thai 4 times a week. Asanda Listens to 20% Music and 80% Business Podcats his favourite podcats would include NPR How I Built This, The Cardone With Grant Cradone and the Advance selling podcasts with Bill Caskey.
