Nightmare or a Dream!

I had a nightmare it seems; And, it isn't easy to let it go.. To see everything slip from my fingers, As the floor below disappears. And, it isn't easy for me to know.. Life isn't as perfect for me anymore, And that I still need to survive it all alone. That perfect moment has passed.. He's gone and so is the past, And, the memories are all that I have. So many things I should have asked.. The unspoken words and signs, But, they hid behind all the lies. Time flies and I move on.. Got over the guilt and pain, Meet another in the rain, And, behind all the smiles I'm still forlorn.. But, I try and try and try some more, And, someday I will be strong enough to roar. Over time, I wait for this to end too, I keep preparing myself to start afresh, But, he keeps pushing against my thresh, Slowly, all my hurts I sew, Let him in and begin to grow, Over still water I begin to row. It's peaceful and complete, It's a pleasant change of pace, The photos are set in my case, All the sorrows packed and neat, I surge forward with a love anew, I move ahead with regrets few. I had a nightmare it seems; Wonder how it feels like a dream..
