Someone is really out here saying that the Tangled cast would all hate the shippers like Varian wasn't shipping himself with Eugene and definitely wrote fanfic of himself and the thief Flynn Rider. You just try to tell me that boy doesn't write fanfiction in his spare time. He's definitely drawing pictures of his crushes in his room and imagining whole scenarios, even the "problematic" ones because you know damn well he's into the bad boys canonly, that's part of why he puts up with Hugo in 7K, because he's just like Eugene used to be when he was Flynn Rider.
I'm just saying, there's no way that he has 3 (maybe more) perfect Flynn Rider Wanted Posters unless he made them himself. That boy is crushing HARD, he would LOVE all the shipping art of him and Eugene. That's like saying Marinette wouldn't be happy about all the shipping art and fics of her and Adrien, this boy is Eugene's literal stalker, age does not matter to him when it comes to his crush. He would be looking for more after seeing one and be giggling and kicking his legs reading the fics and looking at the pictures because, yay, Eugene is paying attention to him! Does it matter if it's bad attention? Nope! It's attention! He doesn't even get bad attention anymore from Eugene, much less good attention! He's so starved, he's eating up all the shipping stuff! He's living vicariously through the version of him in those fics, romantic AND platonic, and thinking "this could be us, if only you weren't so frustrating!"
Would the others be disturbed, though? Oh, most likely. But Varian is Eating. That. Shit. Up. He's attention-starved and still harboring crushes on people he just shouldn't, which he knows by now, but he has to pretend everything is fine and "Team Awesome" his way through Eugene and Rapunzel either treating him like an employee or a bomb about to go off at any moment!
Anyways, yeah, Varian wouldn't be upset or hate the shippers. He'd probably be flustered about so many people paying attention to him but also grateful because, you know, he's been attention-starved and BEGGING for someone to pay attention to him, and here's all these people paying attention to him and he doesn't even have to DO anything for them but be himself, good or bad! They LOVE him! And he loves them for loving him, and for writing and drawing scenes where his "friends" love him, romantically or platonically. Let him have this fantasy, let him vicariously live in a world where he's not struggling to impress people into noticing he's even alive. It doesn't hurt anyone, least of all him. (He's still going to make sure that Rapunzel and Eugene never see them, though. Just in case Eugene takes them personally.)
