Thinking about actually writing a GF fic this time and I have like 2 chapters planned already if I do get around to it. It wouldnāt be anything super unique or wtv but more self-indulgent and whimsy because I Want To Write For Myself Sometimes.
Basically, Bill gets a little redemption arc but not really
He gets an opportunity to be revived and whatnot, comes back with his abilities but immediately has them strippedāand wakes up in the middle of the woods in a stupid, emaciated little body. This would take place toward the beginning of the next summer, and one of the Mystery Shack employees, probably Soos, finds him out there and brings him back.
The whole thing would be focused on just a bunch of silliness and antics, and I imagine toward the beginning of the fic that Bill has absolutely ZERO idea how to operate a body of his own. No muscle mass, no spatial awareness, nothing. Itās like building up all your motor skills when youāre born, except this guy was ābornā as a fully grown adult. Canāt walk or talk right, can barely eat, in constant pain, etc. Crutches Bill. Sensory overload because he isnāt used to being the one trapped in the fleshbag instead of just piloting it like a tiny mech.
No real plot other than that, though he will be getting sick like every other day and he will be causing Problems for everyone else. Once they figure out itās Bill, they only keep him around to help him because itās the right thing to do, but in his humbled state they end up kinda liking him.
Also he still flirts with Ford. He cannot get over that old man.
Thoughts??? Is there a fic like this already???? I like this as an AU okay.

Most of the people in his team died in the process, yet he didnt give up šš He continued to train and be open to learn new skills, running away from fights every time he didnt think he would win, to heal, train even more, and later try once again. He lived this way for y e a r s. He then (slight spoilers for the first episodes? It started with plot twists already š) ended up being the last human alive, decided to fight god (?), won, and decided he should kill the rest of gods too. "Fight me" <- the character Idk if I made it clear, but he is stubborn as fuck. When he said he wanted to kill gods he *was serious*. Also, im a fan of how his perspective / mental state ACTUALLY impacts how he (and we) see the world he's in. Hitting even closer when we realize how he's slowly connecting with others š„ŗ
