“Toussaint morning” (or something like that!). I wanted this to be a masterpiece! Haha. 😂 I’m way too impatient for that. I’m not 100% happy with the background, only because I rushed it a little towards the end and didn’t give too much attention to details. 2016 vs 2018! I painted over an old drawing, and I’m so happy to see the improvement. You can tell I simply used a toned down color for shading instead of changing the hue on the old version. I redrew a drawing from August 2017 (swipe to see the old version)! It’s really cool to see that I’ve made progress this year. Midway through drawing the new version I realized that she reminds me of @avvou ‘s OC Yvette. Sometimes I draw stuff where I don’t use references, but am still influenced by stuff I’ve previously seen somewhere. 😅 But I really love her art, so it’s not so strange that I might have been unintentionally inspired by her.
