Maybe if he just saw the scene again, Joseph would finally go away. He could only keep trying.

Joseph didn't notice the change in route. Not even a little bit. He just kept rambling, probably not even thinking about what was coming from his mouth anymore. Maybe if his grandfather had bothered to know these streets a little better, this wouldn't have happened.

First concept for a Girl Riku. The og design is surprisingly hard to mess with

#kh #kh1 riku #kingdom hearts #kingdom hearts 1 #karart #havent seen anyone mention this yet but a fun little tidbit about sora and riku color-theory wise;#Rikus silver hair and yellow shirt are interesting because the shades used are so bright that they're forced to be defined mostly by shadow #you can see it really well in some of the 2D riku key art but the hair shadow is an elegant anchor for the overall shade of the illustratio #I kinda did it here too for an example. the base hair shade is the same but I changed the shadows from teal to purple to match the outfit.#but for sora #brown and red will usually have soft shadows with not much color variation #because they both hold their ground really well in terms of character design-- they stand out by themselves with their saturation and shade #so that shadows can look a bit odd if you define them too much or change the shades. esp since Sora has a lovely YRB color balance already #you can see it really well if you de-saturate pure red blue and yellow-- yellow has no shade and will almost disappear into a light gray #in other words #it needs darkness to define itself contrast-wise #do with that what you will in terms of character analysis. if anyone reads this that is
