Got to give a little brag about my girl Emma Darling (my favorite golf partner) But first, Tumwater High School dance team put on the most fun we have ever had at a tournament. They went all out!!! Bags with coolers in them with beer, golf balls and other gifts and mom's driving around all day with great food and experienced my first fireball jello shots 🎉😎 first class event!!! Fabulous prizes, lunch and it raised $400 for each girl on Tumwater High Schools Dance team to go to nationals. Entertainment on the course, there is always that "one" team.... we called them "Duck Dynasty" because they would come out of nowhere looking like they drove thru a hay bale and no idea where they would go but seem to find us covered in grass with their long beards and crack us up!!🤣 our score on the board was under where it said "Pete lost his card". We knew who that must have been and one of them was named Pete lol. Rob brought his bluetooth speaker so we had great tunes (not sure I want to golf again with out music now). The best part coming... There was 120 players and maybe a handful of girls and two of them was Emma and I, Emma was the youngest of everyone in the tournament, 16. Our foursome including Greg and Rob. We placed in the top 10, yay Team! But here is the best part when they announced the women's KP (closest to the pin) Emma won! 🎉 Then the announcer went to read off the winner of the men's KP, he paused and then slowly said "Emma Darling...." then he politely said I am going to have to disqualify you because it's the men's prize but everyone gave her a big cheer anyway🎉🎉🎉🎉 Super proud of my girl Emma and best golf partner 🎉😎🏒💪 Thank you Pacific Coast Energy sponsoring a hole and asking the 4 of us to represent you!! 😎 It was 7:00am and not sunny yet so I upped the color... we look VERY bright!!! 🤣😎🌞😀 (at Tumwater Valley Golf Club)
